Ice cream shop is close by 5pm. Not fear. Should be open all day!! We all need ice cream in a hot weather!!!

The beach is the best and the room was good with great balcony and awesome ocean view( we did get a room at the Altitude tower so it was newer….

I booked this hotel for my son and his wife to have a mini-honeymoon prior to staying at another resort in Cancun. They stayed only two nights thankfully. The bathroom was backed up the entire time they were there. They were all inclusive and had to wait in line for ours to get a ticket to go eat on their first night and then the food was horrible so the rest of the vacation they had to pay to eat out so they didn't waste time in line for bad food. From the pool, you have a cement wall blocking you from seeing anything else - like the ocean.

Beach and every single part of the resort was wonderful

I did not originally plan to stay at the Krystal Grand Cancun. My partner and I ended up there unexpectedly after leaving another resort due to a serious safety concern. At the time, we simply needed somewhere safe to stay on short notice. Unfortunately, dealing with this hotel afterward has turned into another frustrating experience. The stay itself was fine for what we needed in an emergency, but the real issue has been the lack of professionalism after checkout. We have been trying to obtain proper documentation and receipts for legitimate dispute and insurance purposes, and instead of straightforward customer service, we have been met with unnecessary resistance and delays. This should be a very simple request that any reputable hotel handles without issue. When someone is dealing with the aftermath of a stressful travel situation, the last thing they should have to do is fight a hotel just to get basic paperwork. It gives the impression that guest support only exists when everything is easy, not when a customer actually needs help. If management is reading this: providing accurate receipts and documentation is basic hospitality administration, not a special favor. Guests should not have to chase you for it. I cannot speak to the resort as a vacation destination since that was not our situation, but based on the customer service experience alone, I would strongly recommend improving how post-stay issues are handled. Seating around the pools were limited but very comfortable. We didnt use the swim up bar but it always seemed well used. If there wasnt enough seating around the pools there was plenty of seating at the beach. We would definitely liked for the ice cream to have been available earlier and later.

Food was amazing, customer service was top notch. Area had so many things to do! Love it and I’m going back!!

Fiquei hospedada por 3 noites juntamente com minha filha e fiquei querendo mais. Na chegada fomos muito bem recebidas, check in muito rapido e como o quarto que selecionamos ja estava esgotado, cordialmente nos deram um up grade para um lindo quarto, frente para o mar. Uma vista perfeita. A praia é linda e sem ondas, as comidades em frente a praia atendem bem e as piscinas e bares tbem atendem muito bem. Basicamente usufrui apenas do restaurante O e gostei de tudo, variedade, sabor, atendimento. Aliás, achei todos os funcionários muito atenciosos. O hotel fica em uma região privilegiada, proxima a bares, restaurantes, supermercados, farmácias, lojas de souvenir, casas de cambio etc. Da pra andar a pé tranquilamente. O hotel é lindo, moderno, organizado, limpo e muito bem localizado. Excelente custo benefício. Se retornar a Cancun facilmente o escolho novamente

Clean rooms great service and food awesome beach

My family chose Krystal because of the location where it is located at one of best beaches in Hotel Cancun zone. We knew from the review not to have high expectation that we normally receive when we travel to five star hotels or even four star hotels. Having said that, we still were disappointed in the quality of food, but most of all, it was service that disappointed us. some staff were courteous and kind but some were very rude to a point we never experienced in Cancun area. The hotel management should look into managing some of their staff better. good hospitality goes a long way...

Resort space was nice, pools, not too busy. The room needed some work and the food wasn’t anything special.
