This is my 2nd time returning to stay at The Manohara Hotel. Located in a very strategic area in Yogyakarta, it’s very easy to find GrabCars, and it is walking distance to restaurants and cafes. To be honest, the room wasn’t the most spacious room within its price range, however, the amenities and cleanliness of the room (and bathroom) were top-notch. TV channels are excellent and are high resolution. The thing we didn’t like the most about our room was the super thick pillows, they weren’t comfortable for us and it hurt our neck, so if thick pillows (>20cm) are not your thing, I’d suggest you to bring your own travel pillow(s). Breakfast was great, they provided numerous selection of cuisines from Asian food, Indonesian food, traditional snacks, and even western breakfast menus. The highlight of our stay was the infinity pool and bar on the rooftop, such a mesmerizing view. Upon check-in, you will be given a ticket for their complimentary welcome drinks on the rooftop bar. Staff were highly friendly and helpful. I’ve always admired their fast response in providing answers or assistance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

This hotel is recommended for tourists visiting Jogja, because it is close to everywhere and is in the campus area, so there is easy access to everywhere.

Thank you very much for the excellent service during my stay. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was well maintained. Overall, my stay was pleasant. There are a few points that I hope can be used as input for future improvements: 1. Security guards in the parking area. The officers seemed indifferent, especially when vehicles were exiting the parking area. Vehicles were not assisted across or onto the road, even though the road was busy. It would be better if the officers were more responsive to assist drivers for the safety and comfort of guests. 2. Bathroom drainage. I appreciate the separation of dry and wet areas in the bathroom. However, the drainage in the dry area is not good, resulting in frequent puddles. I understand that it is difficult to completely avoid splashes of water in the dry area, but the drainage system should be improved so that the area remains dry and comfortable to use even when splashed or splashed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I just checked in at 12 midnight, and the bathroom was flooded due to a clogged drain. Exhausted, I complained the next day, and it was immediately taken care of.

The room is spacious, the Wi-Fi is stable, the atmosphere is very Borobudur... Cool.

The staff is very friendly, next to UNY plaza & close to MM UGM, a busy area... what's nice is the complete & delicious food / breakfast... a variety of traditional / local & western food like at Melia Purosani...

The staff was friendly, the room was spacious, and it had a view of Mount Merapi. The food was varied and delicious. What impressed me was the cleanliness of the room, with the sheets and blankets spotless, and the floor spotless. The pool also didn't smell of chlorine. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a return.

I initially chose this hotel because of its cool interior and the perceived privacy it offered. It turns out that's exactly what it was. The hotel's ambiance is comfortable and the facilities appear well-maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The walls aren't too thick. While conversations next door can be heard, they aren't distracting. Toiletries are complete and smell delicious. There's a coffee machine in the room; coffee capsules are refilled daily. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

If I go to Jogja again, I'll definitely stay here 😁 For a great price, I got a really clean, fragrant room. The breakfast was delicious, and the pool has a great view.

This is my second time staying at Manohara Hotel. Everything runs well, from entering the lobby, check-in process, our requests are all serviced nicely. Truly a recommended hotel when you are in Jogjakarta.

I didn't expect the room to be prepared with towels and other items, making check-in quicker and allowing me to rest right away. The service is simply amazing.
