This place was a unique and wonderful blend of old and new. To start, you enter through the doorway of what was once the mansion or palace of some 17th or 18th century Gaditano. It sets a scene (probably not wheelchair friendly.) The hotel is organized around the central courtyard of the original house, resulting in a lovely atrium with interesting historical details.
By contrast, the room was fully modern and recently renovated with a very nice bathroom. We didn't use the kitchenette to cook, but it was fully stocked with everything we would have needed, and having the fridge, sink and dishes was very useful. The place was very clean. We enjoyed the pool and terrace on the roof. All the sights were close by.
