Super clean, amazing breakfast, location 10/10.

Clean room, friendly and accommodating staff.close to shopping and dining

We liked the convenient location of this hotel, very close to the St. Stephen's Basilica, State Opera, and the Parliament. There are many restaurants near by. I really liked the breakfast with fresh vegetables and fruits. At the reception, it seemed a new employee was being trained while we were checking in. Both trainer and trainee was kind and greeting with smiles. The first impression was really good.

We reserved the quadruple room for our family of 4 (2 Adults and 2 teens), the room was clean, nothing fancy about it, it has two bunk beds, a couple of chairs and a good bathroom. The check in process was fast and we arranged the pick up transportation from the airport with the hotel because we were coming from a long flight and did not want to take the bus or the other means of transport. Cost for one way was around $50. Our stay included daily breakfast which was a plus. Breakfast has a lot of options and it was nice. The best part of this hotel is undoubtedly the location. You will be in the middle of everything. We visited so many cool places all within walking distance. But we also bought the 72-hr transport card which we used to take the metro, buses or trams and it was a great deal as well. There are a couple of grocery stores just few feet away which we visited all the time for water/drinks/snacks. All in all this hotel is a very good option and the price per night is very affordable.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and the location is key The breakfast was a bonus and overall we were pleasantly surprised- Only cons are minor- pillows are sheet thin- no safe- no mini bar and staff training is spotty. Could be great with some small changes

This was a pleasant surprise as we chose it for the location and the price. The room was the perfect size for 2 people with the basics. Water temperature was good in the shower and the bed was comfortable. We had the room across from the elevator but the first 2 nights were quiet as the hotel was not full. What would have made the room better would have been more than just one pillow per person and hand towels and a face cloth. The included breakfast is excellent. Not just a continental breakfast but one with hot and cold dishes, good coffee and delicious bread and pastries. The location was perfect for walking and dining. Our 4 days here we went everywhere by foot or by a quick Uber ride. Budapest is a place we would love to come back to and we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Great location good value extremely well presented. The only downside for me was the hot breakfast items. But I did say for me. Would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel, fantastic location between the sights of St Steven’s Basilica and Parliament. Short walk to the city centre and to the river. The hotel is modern with amazingly friendly staff. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Modern clean room , but better for short stays since there are no closets or bed stands. They are creative with space on hand

The hotel staff always very helpful, great breakfast buffet, and excellent location.

Location Fabulous 3 min Walk to Basilica. 8 min Walk to Chain-link Bridge -- LANC HID 15 min Walk to the magnificent Parliament building. All of this attraction are the pillars of Budapest truism attraction. Just on the BUDA side of chain link bridge is the "mini buss tour of the BUDA CASSEL including the Fisherman Bastion. IF you are under 45 and feet you can walk about 40 min to the top, from the hotel.

The staff were great. My biggest complaint is that the floors were dirty in our room upon arrival. Even on our second day, they did. It clean the floors. And they changed my room The last moment.

Great staff, great room, everything was clean, location is great. Breakfast was very good, although the juices weren't too tasty, and some of the hot dishes (eggs, sausage) weren't very warm. Overall, a very good experience, and I'd happily stay at H2 again.

A great place

We stayed for 4 nights with breakfast included. Excellent position near the basilica and for walking to main sites in Pest area. Good clean rooms but the arrangement of a screened shower area is unusual but well planned. Terrific shower with good pressure. Very little noise from other clients. Pity that there are NO tea/coffee facilities in the room which for us is a reason to look elsewhere if we return to Budapest. Buses, trams and metro are free for over 65's, including Airport express bus - just carry your passport or EU identity card to show if requested.

The room size is a bit small for 4. The breakfast is good. Convenience location, hotel is clean and safe
