I booked 2 executive rooms. 1 for my wife and I, and 1 for my 3 children. There were a lot of mosquitoes, probably because this is an old hotel, so the interior, paint, and even the mattress were curved in the middle 😂. A hotel like Charis only has 5 breakfast options, and the side dish is just omelettes, no chicken or anything...😂. The bathroom has a bathtub, but it's rarely used, so it's dirty. Oh yeah, the Wi-Fi is terrible. The TV isn't Android yet.

The staff was nice but there was a problem yesterday in the room, the window was broken and couldn't be closed, resulting in the AC not being cold and there were mosquitoes.

In room 124, the faucet in the sink could not be turned off.

Pleasant atmosphere, clean room conditions, close to everywhere, and close to the station.

The welcome and service of the hotel employees are very friendly.

(+) The hotel is located in the center of Tulungagung, easy access. Ample parking. Friendly hotel staff. Clean towels. Smart TV and Wi-Fi. (-) Still under renovation, lots of materials in the hallway. Many furnishings are outdated, such as the faucets, mirrors, and sinks. The bathroom needs a complete renovation. There's no hot water. The AC isn't cold at all.

The hotel's ambiance isn't great, despite its excellent location. The sheets aren't pure white anymore, the bed isn't straight at the back (it's skewed in the middle), and the smart TV channels are off.

I booked 3 executive rooms. 2 had refrigerators, 1 didn't. The bathrooms weren't very clean, and the rooms were still quite dirty. After renovations, the floors should have been cleaned as well, but it turned out they weren't very clean either. The bathrooms also need renovations, replacing everything with new ones. The hotel room was like a haunted hallway, but when you enter the room, the windows are large, so it's nice to be able to see the surroundings (luckily I took a room upstairs). The staff were friendly, but the facilities weren't very good. I slept quite soundly there, the mattress and pillows were comfortable but had a bit of a musty and dusty smell.

I booked a VIP room, but the walls looked neglected. I also didn't get a toothbrush. Luckily, I always bring a spare.

There were only two bottles of drinks even though we stayed for two nights. There were no clothes hangers, tissues, toothbrushes, or toothpaste. The water smelled and the room didn't smell good. But the staff was friendly.

Charis' management is better than Votel's management.

got the price of 150 thousand I entered the room only 30 minutes immediately checked out. the room is very bad! peeling paint, dusty, lots of stains on the sheets, bad bathroom, not worth renting!!! very disappointing!!

The room was super dirty, damp, the bed sheets were all over the place, the pillows smelled musty and dusty, the room was damp.

cheap price is a plus but don't be cheap, let's improve the service. 1. no towels, ask the reception, they said there will be tomorrow morning. 2. cleanliness 4 out of 10. shabby room walls. the toilet next to the receptionist is dirty, there is P*P not flushed.

price 600 thousand, pillows and sheets smell musty and dirty. narrow room not free to move. lighting is lacking so toddlers are afraid. forced to move hotels toddlers and their mothers.

This time the room booking was not right, got a bad room. Is it because it was Eid and the hotel was crowded so the available rooms seemed less than ideal. The old TVs should be replaced. Also, please fix the bathroom door.

Not comfortable, lots of mosquitoes, AC is not cold at all, probably never serviced. Bathroom water smells of iron, musty bolster pillows.
