Made a mistake of booking a twin-bed, but I've requested a 1 large bed via the app. On the day, I called the hotel when I was on my way, only to hear they can't confirm whether they can provide it. Turns out they'd changed it to 1 bed already. They gave me a room with a dirty sink and bathtub; obviously, I won't step my foot into that. Thinking that it couldn't be worse than what it is, I found a baby cockroach on the bed. They offered to transfer me to a different room, though. No.

I stayed for 2 nights in total. The thermostat is not working, so the first night was very cold. Then on the second night, they had to manually close one of the aircon valves. Staffs were joking or talking to each other during service. One of the room's safe deposit boxes could not be locked. I would say for a 5-star hotel, it could be better. The breakfast is nice with a lot of variety; I like how the shrimps are peeled, cleaned, and ready to eat.

This was my first time staying at this hotel since the management change. Overall, the service and comfort were excellent. Also, because it's managed by the Artotel group, this hotel, despite its age, remains modern. The price is still reasonable for its strategic location on the main road of Gatot Subroto and adjacent to the newly renovated mall, also managed by the Lippo group. So, if you're bored, you can always walk to get food, snacks, or just stroll around.

The hotel atmosphere is comfortable, the entire hallway smells like a spa, the lighting is very calm, the bedroom view is Pacific Place, the city lights at night are really good, the bathroom is really top... Must come here again if you are in Jakarta... Very satisfying, the breakfast is super complete and delicious.... 1 day feels like it is not enough to enjoy the variety of food 😁 there are lots of beautiful photo areas, the mall is also close... Just walk.... You will not regret staying here.

As many people had recommended, the room and breakfast exceeded expectations. Some activities, like the swimming pool and padel, were unavailable. Lippo Mall Semanggi is only a 1-2 minute walk away.
