The view is beautiful, the room is very comfortable, spacious, and clean. It's just a shame that the swimming pool is not kept clean, I almost slipped because the pool stairs were full of moss and very slippery, the bottom of the pool is very dirty, so I can't swim

Good location, close to Borbudur Temple and Puthuk Setumbu. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The ambience is perfect.

cons: The cleanliness of the room is very lacking, especially the bathroom is very dirty when we arrived at the hotel. We even called the cleaning staff to clean the bathroom and there were still tissue marks on the rocks. The swimming pool is also very dirty, not cleaned regularly. pro: the vip room has a very good view

The location is ok. The wifi is a bit slow so it affects the TV. The AC is cold.

The experience of staying 1 night at Shanaya Borobudur Villa No. 2 will be divided into several points: 1. Room: * Initially when I first arrived, the door was damaged (couldn't be locked) * The aroma in the room felt like dust, maybe because people rarely stayed at my place * The room was difficult to cool because of the many vents that allowed cold air to escape from the room * Comfort was lacking because it can be seen from the photo I attached that there are several parts of the window that are open and most likely can be seen from the outside clearly to the inside of the room * The room feels dirty, there are several points of termite marks visible in the room 2. Bathroom: * In terms of comfort and privacy, it feels very lacking, because it can be seen in the photo that there is an open part that can most likely be seen from the outside. * The shower turned out to be leaking so I couldn't use the main shower * Overall, I like the design because it adopts a natural concept like in Bali. 3. Facilities: * Swimming Pool: Very dirty and dirty, when I arrived the swimming pool was off and not turned on. It is clear that the dirt in the swimming pool is rarely cleaned. It should be given more attention, even though there are few visitors, it must still be kept clean. * Kids Area: None, in my opinion this hotel is not child-friendly because there are no facilities for small children 4. Restaurant: * Very sad with a rate of 1.2 million with a heavy heart for breakfast not buffet only a la carte and choose a certain menu with a very limited menu choice. Because I was the only one staying on that day from a total of 8 villas only me and my family stayed. * The taste of the food is quite good, and the price of the food served at this restaurant is fairly cheap and satisfying considering the taste is good. Conclusion with a rate of 1.2 million / night, breakfast not buffet, dirty swimming pool, I will not return to Shanya.

Shanaya Hotel Borobudur offers a truly breathtaking setting. Nestled amidst serene rice fields with the majestic Menoreh Hills as a backdrop, it's an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. The hotel provides a range of activities, including VW, Jeep, and andong tours, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the local culture and scenery. I was fortunate enough to have my room upgraded to a VIP type, which boasted a balcony overlooking the stunning hills – a view I could have admired for hours. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and helpful assistance. And the food at the hotel was delicious, with a good variety of dishes to choose from. However, my experience was also marred by several issues. Despite the beautiful surroundings, the rooms themselves felt somewhat neglected. House lizards and their droppings were a common sight, and the furniture appeared outdated and tired. While the bathroom was spacious and featured a bathtub and hot water, it was unfortunately quite dirty. Small ants, house lizards, wood specks, and sand detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the pool's cleanliness was less than satisfactory, perhaps due to the rainy season. Given that Shanaya Hotel's pricing is comparable to nearby 4-star establishments, I believe a reconsideration of the room design and a greater emphasis on cleanliness are necessary. While the hotel's location, activities, friendly staff, and tasty food are undoubtedly its strengths, the subpar room conditions and hygiene issues prevent me from giving it a wholeheartedly positive review.

The service is good, maybe the internet access can be improved.

Maybe for lighting, bright light options can be added because I think the lighting is lacking, then the bidet in room no. 2 is very slow so it is not optimally used, and finally the room key is very tricky, difficult to lock. For the staff, they are good and friendly, the atmosphere is fresh and beautiful, the breakfast is delicious

Staying here is a good decision. It was near borobudur and plataran 😂.

Thank you for the experience. The first day there were several small animals in the room (ants) which is normal because there are lots of plants. On the second day I asked to clean up the details, put ant lime and baygon. Breakfast tastes like home food. The pool view is okay, but there are some slippery stairs, be careful. I took the VIP room which has a direct view of the rice fields and menoreh hills ❤️ can borrow an iron, plastic and other necessities

Recommended overnight stay if you want to go to Borobudur or just staycation. The place is peacefull mind, and all the staff are friendly. Affordable price, delicious food. Cool huh

Staying 3 days 2 nights at Shanaya felt lacking. Wanted to extend but it was already full. Very satisfied staying here. Comfortable room, spacious bathroom, all the food is delicious, all the staff are friendly. Swimming pool in front of Kanar plus mountain view mixed with rice fields. When else can you enjoy the natural atmosphere & animal sounds that are rarely heard in Jakarta. Really TOP for Shanaya. Hopefully can stay again soon
