Our family had the most wonderful 3 nights at Mar Caribe. The entire staff was so welcoming and kind - especially to our little chihuahua! I’m so grateful that this luxe resort allows responsible dog owners to bring their pup. The buffet food was the best I’ve ever had at an all Inc’ - no need to go to the à la carte restos. The beach was glorious and very little sargassum except for one afternoon when a band washed ashore. Heavenly ocean swimming playing in the waves. A perfect 4 day break from the jungle 😊 Gracias Mar Caribe. And an extra thank you to Alberto at check-in and Carlos at the valet desk.

El personal de recepción excelente, el restaurante muy lento el servicio y siempre se equivocaron en la orden, la limpieza del cuarto en general bien quitando que un dia encontramos sangre en la cobija y l gerente dudo si era nuestra

Hotel feels new and modern. Staff is helpful, food has great taste. Just a couple of blocks away from the Avenue Paseo Montejo where, safe walk 24hrs. Room is awesome, good space inside the room as well the bathroom.

All the staff were very helpful. Room was confortale, and swimming in the outdoor roof top pool on my 65th birthday was sublime.

I’ve stayed here several times over the last year and it’s really only gotten better time after time. The staff is always very friendly and helpful; the rooms are spacious and clean; it’s very well located; and the restaurant is truly excellent. It’s a solid 3-4 star hotel in my view. Special kudos to Carlos, an incredibly nice bellman who always seem to be in a great mood! 🙂

Friendly staff

Beds were very soft, rooftop patio/pool was amazing, restaurant was very good. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Coming back next year.

Bed mattress was lumpy. Asked for our complimentary coffee at tte restaurant expecting to be seated, instead they had us wait by the cashier while a waiter brought us our coffee in a paper cup, asked for cream, they brought it over for us to pour it. Second time we took a seat at small table by edge of the dining room, uninviting atmosphere. We assumed it's hotel's policy to issue complimentary drinks to go. Great roof pool!
