Good for the money

Para empezar nos cambiaron la habitacion no era la que agende, y para terminar el cuarto tenia un olor horrible no se aguabtaba pedimos qie nos cambiaran de habitacion y terminaron dandome lo que habia agendado seguia oliendo horrible pero ya no era tanto. Lo peor es que no todos los demas dias seguia el olor entre hunedad y drenaje horrible experiencia el staff muy servicial.

The staff went above and beyond duty. I booked a late night reservation, and the receptionist was amazing. He made sure that I was able to find parking and was even able to get a toothbrush and toothpaste for me! I also needed to charge my phone and he let me borrow his cube. Exceptional service.

Si te gusta caminar un poco mas de lo normal su ubicacion es la correcta para llegar a Paseo Montejo. Habitación con lo basico, en buen estado y limpio. Un poco de ruido ya que se escuchan las conversaciones en los pasillos y al cerrar las puertas de las otras habitaciones. El agua del lavamanos, casi siempre salia tibia o caliente. Falta una ventana o extractor en el baño. Limpieza bien. Minisplit funcionando correctamente. Alberca, bah! Recepcion poco conocimiento del area o flojera. Como para asesorar/decir donde hay una tienda, oxxo, abarrote. Bien en general.

Tranquilo y fácil para caminar por el paseo Montejo, tiendas y restaurantes a corta distancia y a unos cuantos minutos del centro de Mérida, limpio y tranquilo a buen precio para turistas con limitado presupuesto

Staff was great, the room smelled really bad because of the stage system, the bed was really hard like a board, however the room was very clean and well kept, they respected my property in the room when they went in to clean, overall a great experience!

Too noisy, and bussy, problem with stars, the stars ceiling is too low, i hit my head, no elevator, the restaurant poor attendance, sitting too long to order, very sad.

Muy cómodo y la gente muy amable. Solo que el cuarto que me tocó 101 parecía que era una hidalga muy encerrado, sin luz y se escuchaban los coches pasar atrás del cuarto en la noche

Morning Loud car noises

Location is fine. Neighborhood is not dangerous as another reviewer described it. Room was very clean. I had an issue when I came back on Christmas eve and found my room had flooded in my absence. I was very hungry and by the time I finished moving, almost every restaurant was closed and I had to settle for what I could get delivered from the handful of places that were still open. Not the worst thing in the world but most hotels would have offered some compensation for the experience. Just a breakfast voucher would have made me happy. But not this place. In general this is a hotel that caters to middle class Mexicans who I feel certain would have preferred that I stayed at one of the tourist hotels they were priced out of because of people who look like me. The staff was professional and extended minimum courtesy except for the bellhop, who was friendly and charming. Good value for the money. I understand where the attitude comes from. I've seen it elsewhere and agree with the sentiment to a large extent.

Really good value for your money. My personal experience was pretty good. Those complaining about quality and amenities need to be reminded they are choosing savings over luxury. My room was spacious and comfortable enough, the only thing is I had poor WiFi, tho I must clarify I had to take zoom meeting calls in the room, all else was very good. The staff was friendly and all basics were covered, the AC worked fine which is important in Merida, lol. This place is at walking distance to Montejo, the main avenue in town, you can even walk all the way to downtown if you’re not too lazy, and is a very nice walk. You are also closer to the north, which is the modern part of town. There are a bunch of restaurants and a discreet Walmart store close by where you can almost always find taxis waiting during the day time, despite its proximity to all that, it was quiet in my room and the area seemed very safe. Again, this is really good value for your money, I would definitely stay there again!

Overall property is clean and not bad for the price. The bed is not very comfortable, and they do not even give you a cup of complimentary coffee in the morning.

Very nice hotel clean 25 minutes walk to centro but it is a pleasure to get there . Super friendly staff Definitely recommended. 👌

Even though the room was very very small, The stay was nice, the food was good and the staff we met were friendly … HOWEVER, someone took my wife’s Makeup Bag filled with expensive makeup , brushes and other accessories valued at over $1000 Canadian . This purple kit was the size of a bread loaf and hard not to see. The front staff first said they would look into it but later told us we must have lost if ourselves because the cleaning staff were very honest and trustworthy. Nice of them to take the side of dishonest staff members!! It didn’t walk away !

The location is very convenient and the staff was super friendly. I recommend staying here if you’re in a short stay. The rooms can be small so don’t share a room with more than 3 people.
