Staffs there were so nice, very good location to hang out in downtown Tulum! Good cocktails and breakfast, very recommend!

Really wonderful place! The rooftop pool area is really nice and the food and drinks they serve there are top-tier. Staff was super friendly and the place feels very professionally run (super clean, comfortable bed, etc). Wouldn't look anywhere else on a second trip here.

STAFF WAS AMAZING!!! So friendly and accommodating-- great hospitality. Paid for a upgraded room but was changed to a different room due to an undisclosed problem. I cannot say enough about the staff at Layla! Ricardo and his team make you feel so special and catered to. Everything we ordered on the menu was absolutely delicious and drinks are amazing! The only thing that could make this hotel better is if it were on the beach. But! The sister hotel that is on the beach is available to visit and they make you feel like royalty as well!

Nice hotel. Needs a make over. No gym, or spa on site as advertised?? Abit disappointed when we arrived and these two major factors for booking were not on site.

Honesty i had some ideas for places to eat but the concierge were amazing with their suggestions. Definitely ask the conciegre for their suggestion on places to eat. Shout out to staff :).

Beautifully decorated hotel, excellently thought out style but the real stars are the staff. They are helpful, friendly and provided us with excellent advice regarding our holiday.

Everything was amazing except for the noises. The sound proof windows doesn't work. We couldn't sleep. Will be better to stay in a room on the back of the building. Our terrace room shared the balcony with another room. Everything else great

The staff were magnificent. Very attentive, caring and fun. They helped us with restaurant and beach recommendations, arranged our airport transfers, and were a delight. The food in the hotel was very good, as were the cocktails. Very clean and sage and a feast for the eyes!

Hotel is in a nice enough part of town but…..room was broken into and be warned the safes are a joke. Safe was opened and cash, new cell phone and raybans stolen. Hotel said they could see two guests breaking in on camera but they checked out already. Filed police report which was not easy. And hotel said they would help me with dealing with their insurance company but to no avail. Now the hotel is ghosting us so tough luck. Hotel owner did say we could have two free nights in the future to compensate for our early departure as we didn’t want to stay for the rest of our booking but that’s all!
