This is a lovely little boutique hotel with only eight rooms in a once private palace. It’s elegant and funky, with a nice breakfast, located in a perfect spot. The staff are absolutely incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking can be a bit challenging but not bad for a city. The location is perfect for sight seeing.

Everything about this little boutique hotel is beyond satisfactory. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are commodious and well appointed. And you won’t get a better location in the city you can start your visit with a boat tour which starts two minutes from the hotel.

I was glad to have been traveling solo as I wouldn't want to share with anyone else. Towels and bed were plush and I loved having a key like old days. Don't change as it was exceptional stay.

A beautiful boutique hotel with lots of history. Our room was magnificent. Staff was great. Conveniently located in the heart of town and everything was easily walkable from the hotel. A great find!

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the centre of town, close to shops, dining and local attractions. What makes this hotel stand above the rest is the service you receive from every member of the hotel staff. They definitely go above and beyond. In addition, the hotel is beautiful. It once was a private residence and was recently renovated. However they were able to keep the integrity, beauty and charm of the original residence with modern amenities. It felt like we were transported back in time. We have been in many hotels during our travels, this hotel by far will be one of the most memorable. I would definitely highly recommend staying at 1877.

An amazing boutique hotel in Aveiro. Very well located near the canals. Our room was quite comfortable. The included buffet breakfast added a nice touch. The two young ladies looking after the hotel were very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel if staying in Aveiro

Good location. Very nice room. Difficult to unload as the hotel frontage is in a very tight street. Parking is available but you have to use a card key (borrowed from the front desk) to park your car at the mall parking lot across the street. It is a bit of a challenge navigating to the hotel and the mall.

This boutique hotel should win every award it is eligible to win! The interior design is exceptional and the staff are consummate professionals. The daily breakfast is fantastic with options for all palates. I will visit again!
