We absolutely loved our stay at El Ben. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly from start to finish, the cabanas were gorgeous, clean and super comfortable. It was very easy to arrange for transportation to and from the airport, as well as to and from the south side of the island across the split. We loved eating at Korner Stop right across from the entrance of El Ben — delicious food and sweet staff. HOWEVER... YOU MUST WEAR BUG SPRAY. The no-see-ums were relentless on the island. Wear super strong bug spray always, or douse yourself in baby oil.

Our room was spotless. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food was very good. It was a very quiet and replaxing stay. We will return.

The proprietor of this high end establishment is and incredibly unethical and extremely unpleasant person. We were not treated with respect and I suggest you not stay even tho the place itself is lovely.

This is the best and most friendly hotel on the caye. Beautiful.

What stood out the most is that the staffs are really friendly and very helpful and accommodating. The hotel or resort is great, I love the quietness, secluded from the noises. Overall stay was excellent! Love the hotel! The staffs! It was a great experience. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Actually I did!

They will steal your money

The whole place was great. But what stood out was the staff. They were all very friendly, helpful and kept checking in to see if my wife (who was quite ill) to see if she was getting better. They were exceptional!

Very nice rooms, very clean and comfortable, great water pressure. Grounds were clean and well kept though after heavy rain some of the paths were flooded (what do you expect being at literal sea-level). Staff was superb and helped me both with a booking issue (resolved wonderfully) and any questions I had about town and other bookings. It is on the north island making getting to town a bit harder but their boat and the ferry are pretty convenient but you do have to plan extra time for them. Great overall

Room was super clean. On arrival to the site, we were greeted with 2 drinks and an overview of the amenities and services the hotel provides. Very professional and pleasant stay all around!

The staff were wonderful, they were helping us on any issue that required assistance. Lovely quiet place, with free transportation to other locations on the Islad.

The rooms were clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. It would have been nice to have more amenities, such as hammocks or lounge chairs to relax in. There weren’t a lot of spaces for visitors to kick back and relax.
