A really lovely hotel with an amazing View! Parking near the entrance. Nice dinner in the restaurant and perfect service from the staff, both at the restaurant and in the hotel.

Hotel located on top of the hill with great view over the city and river, also it’s the starting point of an old cable car down to the castle

The Hotel is beautiful and if you get a chance you need to spend at least 1 night there. The views are incredible. Food was excellent, staff was very accommodating.

OMG….this place is amazing…get a room with odd numbers so you can view all of Germany below. Regardless of your room the property has amazing views…like the best views from a hotel for my whole life…I’m 58, and I get around! Wow! Just stunning! The restaurant was absolutely great as well and taking the funicular back and forth between town just added to the experience!

Beautiful location. Very nice staff, child and dog friendly. Spacious room with a wonderful view. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was tasty. Overall great stay which we can only recommend

Most beautiful hotel in Heidelberg. Views can’t be beat. Great breakfast, bar, and restaurant. Taking the train down to the castle was fun and easy. All staff helpful and friendly!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in and explore Heidelberg! It was fun staying above the city instead of in it as were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Getting around wasn’t as easy as if you were staying in the city proper but we found taxi, uber, freenow, the bus and the funicular as helpful ways to get around even in the rain! Make sure to enjoy the view and the surrounding trails. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic! I will say the only down side of our trip was that the WiFi kept cutting in and out while we were relaxing in our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

A beautiful place in the woods overlooking Heidelberg. The room was recently redone. The staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English. The view is breathtaking. Parking in front for just 9 Euros. Now, you’d better have a car to be back and forth between the hotel and town. The funicular / tram works till 7 pm.

Stunning views from a hotel with views of Heidelberg. Rooms are very clean , modern and have a very comfy bed. Kettle and fridge in room as well as usual amenities. Good shower. Are in the hotel - excellent food and service. Would advise to book. Breakfast was lovely. Great choices available from hot buffet to cold cereal and cheeses /meats. Would stay again. Very friendly staff.
