the room was clean, the staff was friendly and everything was in the room that I needed. I did pick this hotel as it advertised a gym, however there was no free weights in the gym and only 3 pieces of equipment (maybe 4) so I had to go to a gym in soelden still. I may have stayed in another hotel if I had realised how sparse the gym was. A single bench and some free weights up to 50 lbs would have been adequate to avoid this and would have allowed me to give it more stars.

It was a nice hotel; however, it would have been nice to open the door more for cooler air or have air conditioning. The room was quite warm.

Great location in Tyrol mountains, quite new and comfy, ver friendly staff and good breakfast.

I chose to stay here because it was in the mountains and the surrounding area just looked gorgeous. The hotel staff were wonderful, professional, and courteous. Our room was clean, modern, and functional. We had our two small dogs with us, and they were welcome. There was plenty of grassy space for them to be walked right outside. The breakfast was very delicious and diverse. We loved that you could cook your own skillet! We will definitely be staying at another Explorer hotel in the future.

Very helpful when I wasn’t able to make it in tome for closing of the reception desk for the night. Organised a way for me to get the key to my room. Room was very clean. Breakfast had a good selection to fill you up for your day of activity

Perfectly setup with bar and restaurant, parking with garage and bikes for exploring the local area. Easy to get to with soelden nearby for more lively restaurants. Shame the rooms don’t have air con, but otherwise a lovely stay.

Very convenient

This a so called modern budget hotel… and it shows. The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors. I would say like only 2-star hotel, very basic. And it is not close to any ski area. Both Solden and Kuhrai are pretty far away. Breakfast was good.

Superbe établissement, bien situé, tres prore, belle deco. Accueil très aimable et professionnel. Beaucoup de facilites: parking, bar, petite restauration, local à ski. Saunas accessibles sans frais supplémentaires, très propres et agréables. Chambre très fonctionnelle et sympa. Petit déjeuner buffet varié et complet. Personnel très à l'écoute et accueillant. Une tres belle adresse pour tous et spécialement pour les skieurs.

La personne de la réception était très agréable et de bon conseil.

Ich war schon zum dritten Mal im Explorer Hotel im Ötztal. Schönes Hotel, freundlicher Empfang, geräumige und saubere Zimmer, Frühstück ohne Schnickschnack, verkehrsgünstige Lage. Wegen Minderbelegung war dieses Mal die Sauna leider nur von 17-19 Uhr in Betrieb. Allerdings habe ich auch 2 Kritikpunkte: 1. Keine kostenlosen Parkplätze (2,- €/Nacht auf dem Hotelparkplatz, 8,80 €/Nacht in der Tiefgarage), 2. Die Matratzen sind aus meiner Sicht sehr unbequem

Tolles Hotel, freundliche Mitarbeiter und angemessener Preis sogar inkl. Frühstück. Hotel bleibt in positiver Erinnerung und bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder.

Would have liked to get an email with the way how to walk form the busstation to the hotel after i called to check whether there is a bus from Oetztal Bahnhof; now I had to walk a long way to search for the hotel with heavy luggage. The intake was okay. But a friend of mine with backproblems had to walk with heavy luggage around the hotel to the front door, because a staff member refused to open the back door for him. The room was't cleaned and toilet paper wasn't renewed in my 6 day stay. Diificulties to check out at 06:30 to catch the bus to the Oetzal Bahnhof. The sauna and spa wasn't open during the day. It was a budgethotel experience. The breakfast was good though.
