Everything was fantastic at this hotel

Brilliant hotel.! Fantastic staff with attention to detail who went above and beyond to assist us. Good amenities and central location to the old city. We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Good: Excellent location. Spacious rooms. Very clean. Parking available. Bad: Water in room is warm at best, never hot enough for a shower. Breakfast is poor for the cost. No bell captain to help with luggage. They get busy so that they stop answering calls- room service / front desk etc. Really bad: They’re in full profit maximizing mode. You paid for 1 child fees on Expedia? That’s to allow him stay. The bed is extra. You checking in a few hours early? That’s extra. Also.. want to take a leftover croissant from breakfast up to your room? Not allowed. They run the buffet like an Eastern European prison. I once came down at 8.30am with my family, the lady asked: didn’t you all already have breakfast an hour earlier? Weird overall not warm.

Amazing! had the best time and everything was perfect

Everything at the courtyard by marriott wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the cleanliness was excellent, and the location is very convenient and close to everything. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again every time I visit Azerbaijan.

I had a great stay but am displeased with the lack of refund for 5 night stay as promised by the manager . Sadly I had to check out early as the aim of travelling to Baku was not achieved. Dear manager you promised in twenty days I will receive my refund which am still waiting for. Please refund my money as I don’t want to go on social media. Thank you

Good Experience

I am from Canada. This is the best hotel we stayed in south Caucasus countries even though other hotels we stayed are all 5-star hotel while this is a 4-star hotel. But this hotel beats other two 5-star hotels we stayed in South Caucasus, Bugattis, Romania and Moldova. I would think this 4-star hotel aligns with 4-star hotel standard in Canada.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it due to several issues we experienced. We paid extra for a premium room but did not receive the promised amenities. The city view from our room was also extremely disappointing. The service throughout our stay was consistently terrible. Upon check-in, no one assisted us with our bags, and I had to move the luggage cart myself. The staff, in general, were very unfriendly. For example, a server at the bar seemed annoyed when I inquired about decaf coffee. Additionally, our room was not cleaned until 5 or 6 PM each day, despite us leaving the room by 11 AM. Finally, we arranged for a taxi to the airport through the hotel and paid double the standard price to ensure a convenient pickup, especially since we had three heavy, 25 kg suitcases. However, the taxi did not arrive at the front of the hotel. We were forced to walk an additional 10 minutes behind the hotel with our heavy luggage, and no one offered a cart or assistance.

Due to construction there was constant noise directly outside our room and from within the hotel. Customer relations were unhelpful when approached for any help

Excellent staff and decent room - a little bit on the small side but perfectly adequate. The only negative thing to say is that the fire alarm on the ceiling was constantly flashing every 20 seconds, incredibly brightly, which made it difficult to fall asleep once you noticed it in the dark.

Good location .. close to Nizami main bazaar

Centrally located to visit most places on foot. Hotel is clean and tidy. Breakfast menu is just average.
