I honestly don’t even know where to start because my experience at Fairmont Taghazout Bay was just amazing. This hotel is truly wonderful. From the moment you walk in, you feel the luxury and the calm atmosphere. The decoration is beautiful and elegant, with so much attention to detail. Everything feels classy, comfortable, and relaxing at the same time. I always come here, and every single time it feels special. This time, I had one of the best iftars . The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly presented. You could really feel the quality and care in every dish. It was such a beautiful and memorable evening. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the service especially Fatima Ezzahrae. She was so welcoming from the first minute, always smiling and paying attention to the smallest details. She was very, very helpful and made sure everything was perfect for us. You can tell she truly cares about the guests. I loved her way of serving she was kind, professional, and so warm. She honestly made our night even more special.

We had a disappointing honeymoon stay at Fairmont Taghazout Bay. Firstly, the woman who checked us in couldn't have cared less that we were on our honeymoon. In fact, she upgraded us to a pool-view room located right next to a very loud three-day wedding celebration. Our room was adjacent to the outdoor wedding venue. We didn't complain during the first two nights despite the loud music. However, on the third day of the wedding, the pool was closed for a private event, and our room felt like part of the party because the noise was so overwhelming. We finally raised the issue, as we felt this was unacceptable. The staff moved us to a sea-view room, which was a relief, but it was not something we wanted to deal with during our honeymoon. Our initial plan was to check out and move to a different hotel, but I came down with food poisoning, and we had to extend our stay. Unfortunately, another wedding then booked the entire beach decking area for a private event. The group was already playing loud music on the decking the day before the party, and no member of staff asked them to keep the noise down for other guests. We were told the beach party would finish at 9:00 p.m., but it continued until 11:00 p.m. and only stopped after we called reception to complain. In conclusion, this hotel does not seem to care about its guests when private events are taking place. Areas like pool and beach can be blocked for an entire day as it can be booked for private party which I think is very unfair for paying residents. Party attendees are allowed to make as much noise as they want, wherever they want. The breakfast area also felt as though it had been reserved exclusively for them, as they completely took over the space. The staff did little to manage the situation or ensure that other guests felt comfortable and relaxed. Unfortunately, choosing this hotel was the worst decision we could have made for our honeymoon getaway. We were looking for a calm and relaxing beach holiday, but Fairmont seemed unconcerned about whether its guests were happy and able to relax. There was no special honeymoon treatment and no meaningful compensation, other than a simple "thank you for your feedback" and an apology. The only positive aspect of our stay was the hardworking staff at the breakfast, beach and pool, especially Mehdi, who went out of his way to help find my lost sunglasses. In contrast, the reception team did not appear to make much effort to assist. We will never stay here again, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

As with anyplace the staff are what really makes an experience. They’re incredible. The resort is really great. They can’t do enough for you. The food is incredible and great coffee!! The pools are not overcrowded and no running to secure beds at 6 am! - there’s plenty of space. From the moment you arrive you really feel so safe, secure and happy. Great for adults and children

I visited for a week with my Mum - we needed a peaceful week to rest and recharge. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Our room was perfect with beautiful ocean views and the housekeeping tea, did a great job. The only slight issue we had with the room was that the plug socket in the bathroom didn't work and so we had to awkwardly dry our hair in the main bedroom without access to a mirror. In fairness to the hotel, it's not something we raised with them and I'm sure if we had they would have tried to resolve it quickly for us. The resort itself lovely and spacious. Initially we were disappointed that the adult only pool was closed for the duration of our stay but in the end it made little difference to our enjoyment. The family pool is great, has lots of beds and space to not feel crowded - the service was also excellent. We also spent a couple of afternoon on the beach loungers which were fab and had the weather been better, I think we'd have spent most our sunbathing time here. It's the staff and service which really make this property shine. Everyone we encountered during our stay was incredibly welcoming, friendly, accommodating and not to mention, efficient. The team really did make our stay and I can't praise them enough.

My stay at the Fairmont Taghazout Bay left me with very mixed feelings. There’s no denying that the property itself is absolutely stunning. The design, surroundings, and overall atmosphere are beautiful—everything from the architecture to the views feels thoughtfully curated and luxurious. It’s the kind of place that immediately impresses and has all the ingredients for a truly exceptional stay. Unfortunately, the service falls far short of the setting. The overall attitude of the staff felt surprisingly lackadaisical, and at times even dismissive. Simple requests often took far longer than expected, and there was a noticeable lack of attentiveness and urgency throughout the experience. Another downside was the atmosphere in the evenings. The hotel plays very loud dance music at night, which can be quite disruptive—especially if you’re hoping for a relaxing, peaceful stay. It felt at odds with the otherwise serene setting the hotel seems to aim for. It’s disappointing because the hotel clearly has incredible potential. With such a breathtaking location and facilities, it should be delivering a world-class experience—but the service and nighttime environment don’t quite match the standard the property sets visually. Another point to mention is the price of food and drink is expensive for example gin and tonic is €18 and bottle beer € 10 I definitely would not return, if you’re looking for something similar with your family I couldn’t recommend Ikos hotels more highly. Nothing is too much to ask in Ikos In summary: a gorgeous hotel that could be outstanding, but is currently let down by inconsistent service and a surprisingly disruptive evening atmosphere with expensive food and drink.
