Fantastic outback accommodations. We did not have camping gear so we booked one of their cabins which was clean and had all amenities needed especially air conditioning (it was HOT). Friendly staff. Highly recommend this as a base for exploring beautiful Carnarvon Gorge National Park

we enjoyed our cabin, size was good, bed comfy and the decking backing onto the bush was fantastic. Upon check in, the woman was not terribly friendly and seemed to be hurrying me along. The lack of signs to the Platypus viewing area and the 'lookout' was unnecessary.

It was one night and it was in a tent. It served the purpose, as we are campers we enjoyed the stay. The tent was looking a bit tired but overall we enjoyed our stay. The grounds and sites were absolutely beautiful.

Pros - Caravan, Camping, tent & cabin accommodation close to Carnarvon Gorge. Beautiful grounds. Good camp kitchens. We were in a Thanks tent / Ensuite attached. Cons - Tanka Tents too small., Too many beds. For 2 one double bed is enough. Interior lighting poor. Accommodation options expensive. Entry to Breeze park really poor calvert with running water across it. And rough river stones to run across. If it rains, beware you might be stuck..

A first time I see a camp site with laundry where you have to buy token from the office to use the washing machine (no card, no coins accepted) and when you find that out at 6pm, well, tough luck, office open from 9am to 5pm only. Then when you come to the dryer, oh, the dryer take the coins (yes, your normal gold coins), but not the washing machine. Now onto the Taka tent, its not seal very well so all sorts of bugs will come inside the tent, the ceiling, the bed, everywhere. Now the toilet, we book an ensuite tent so it come with a private bathroom/toilet. The toilet had not been plumb properly causing the smell inside the toilet is unbearable, so we have to use the communal toilet which is ten folds batter than this ensuite toilet. So much trouble for a "glamping" experience (dont jump the gun yet, we are no newbie campers, we sleep in our own roof top tent on car or pitch our own tent usually, just happen that the Carnarvon Gorge national park Campground have fully booked so we booked at Big 4 instead, first and last.

After paying for a ensuite Tarker tent we had to use the shared showers as ours did not work, front door catch needs attention and some BBQ in the camp kitchen would not work from a lack of gas.Apart from that had a good time.saw my first Platypus .

We stayed in a fixed tent! It was expensive and only had a fridge and bed in the tent!' The camp kitchen didn't have a toaster or microwave!!
