Hotel stay was okay!!! I was unaware of the $300 hold on the card and they were adamant that it had to be a credit card. They didn’t take cash app or Apple Pay, which was kinda inconvenient for people who only carry cash. So I had to have a family member use there but they were confused due to credit card paperwork say don’t sent a credit card, but then the front desk showed me another paperwork that said do. When I showed the front desk the discrepancy in the paperwork, they just brushed it off, which did not sit well with my family member . Plus I was unaware of the $40 a day parking, which if I know I would have found a hotel with free parking on site. But the $40 a day was great for 24 hour valet service. My second day at the hotel shower started leaking. Water started coming out on the side. Immediately, when I told the front desk, they move my room, which was a great and fast response. But for the price of the hotel, it was not a good look. Hotel was located around a lot of amenities, so if you didn’t drive, you could just walk a lot of places.

Stayed here from June 25th, 2025 for 4 nights, I stayed on the 24th floor, in a King Suite. The location is nice, walking distance to the restaurants and supermarket. There is a free train that takes you around. Access to the train is less than 3 minutes walk. I felt safe at nights. The rooms need attention. I am a clean freak and in examining the counters and surfaces I had issues with the cleaning standards. House keeping replenished towels without being asked and that sat well with me. The front office staff needs training on customer friendliness, except for Mariano (hope I got his name correct). He resolved a major problem I had with my room and did so quite apologetically, which met my standards and expectations. Lyn on the other hand, needs to work on her body language and attitude towards people of color, this also holds true for the person that initially checked me in whose name I never got, as he did not wear a tag but I suspect he is a Manager. He was very curt and unwelcoming. Breakfast was horrible, the selection was poor, the standard and quality low and the overall preparation lacked care. Hope this helps to improve the hospitality experience for other guests. MMG 🇹🇹

The layout of the rooms are nice. I booked the 1 bedroom suite. But the issue is maintainance . They have provided a fridge and a microwave but there were no plates/ cups/ utensils . The closets were not too clean with dust on them. Bed and towels were clean. There is no bell desk so there is no help for luggage . Breakfast could have been better as well. Location is alright . These are more like apartments than a hotel. They can def do better if they add some basic amenities

I stayed here for a cruise. The staff were so nice. The rooms were clean , and I loved the food places all around walking distance. I will definitely be back for my next Miami getaway !

The room was excellent. I give them full points for the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast was the same thing everyday. There weren't many options to choose from.

We've stayed at Atwell Suites twice and will do so again, especially if we're going on a cruise. It's close to the cruise port, yet less expensive than some of the hotels in the area. It's close to some nice restaurants, and the room was very spacious.

Fraud occurred through this hotel’s employees! Please avoid this hotel at all costs or it could cost you $1000 that you have to spend your precious time to get refunded. I booked through hotels.com because I trust hotels.com but when I got to the hotel, the hotel required a card on file for incidentals. Our stay was for ONE pre-cruise night; flying into the Miami airport and getting an Uber to Atwell suites, we ate dinner in the lobby bar, stayed for one evening, departing the next morning for our cruise ship at 11 AM. I came home to find almost $1000 had since been charged to my card so I called the hotel who insisted I had extended my stay for more nights. I insisted that I could prove I was on a cruise ship in the middle of the Caribbean when they said I was in their hotel room. The customer service representative Ray was very rude and has no business working in customer service if that’s the best he can do at faking being courteous, which makes me question his direct involvement in the fraud! There was no reason for him to be so defensive and insist that I was at their hotel when I could prove that I wasn’t. My husband called back and Manager Ashley handled it quickly and efficiently and recognized the fraud had occurred on the hotel’s end. This should never have happened! When we checked in, the desk person had to physically go up and make sure no one was in the room, which I found odd, but I now understand this is a problem that occurs at this hotel!

The front desk staff was very professional and welcoming. We stayed on the 17th floor and had a beautiful view if the city. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was also very good.
