When we arrived we thought we had found a great spot. It is an apartment in a convenient location. The space was sparsely furnished but clean. The problem started when we tried to use the bathtub. It didn't work. We chose this spot because it was one of the few that had a tub. That evening I used the outlet next to the bed to plug in my phone. A couple minutes later sparks started shooting out of the wall around the outlet. I unplugged my phone and it stopped. The next morning I called the number on my welcome email and talked to someone (not the owner) who assured me the owner would get back to me. After waiting all day without a follow up I sent another message. No follow-up. We stayed 4 nights without any communication. It is now 3 days since we left and still no communication. The situation could have been dangerous and could ultimately cause a fire. We will not be using Hotels.com again because of the lack of customer service.
