Nice old place

The interior of the hotel is actually quite nice. Modern, pleasant and comfortable. Unfortunately, the outside looks terrible. The gravelly dirt grounds are weedy. The building needs a paint job and the sign for the hotel is shabby and only partly there.

I love Jokkmokk. This town is one of my favorite places and hotel Akerlund is a wonderful historical building. Simple, quiet and safe.

The staff of the hotel was courteous and the property itself was fine. But they gave me a room like a broom closet. Small and dark. And next to the actual broom closet, right on the main corridor to other rooms, so noisy as well. I asked to change rooms immediately upon seeing mine but they refused. Total rip off. I will never return as other options in Jokkmokk are much better and some are also cheaper.

The hotel was well situated in town. We were extremely pleased with the helpfulness of the staff. When we checked in, we were welcomed to a complimentary light dinner at the restaurant. The room was small, but had everything we needed. I wish there was additional sound proofing in the rooms, as we could easily hear every conversation in the neighboring room. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. They also offered a breakfast, which was small but tasty.

Nice and cozy small hotel with good service. Looks like it was newly renovated. Had a one night stay, and we are very pleased.

Bra helhetsintryck! Mysigt ställe! Bodde 4 nätter. Dock minus på frukosten. Brödet var enformigt & torrt. Varje dag. Pålägg, köttbullar mm med dålig åtgång, åkte fram dagen efter igen.

Een authentiek hotel. Erg goed ontbijt. Het restaurant oogt warm en knus.

Snabb incheckning & bra service och fin bastu. Mysigt att sitta vid en brasa.
