This property is absolutely adorable!! It is impeccably clean and has great old charm. The staff was so friendly and breakfast was great! It is a bit out of the way from the attractions, but if you have a vehicle it is a scenic drive to Rothenburg.

Location is beautiful, the entire property, and the room were authentic and our (almost) two year old loved the place. Breakfast buffet was great, and dining options were really nice.

Truely lovely place to stay in a very small village when driving around Germany very early January. We used this place as a base for a number of days and it was lovely to return to. Great breakfasts with some local products and a lot of choice. You can also have dinner here. Stayed in Comfort double room Type 1 which was bigger than some of the others and very comfortable with a good sized bathroom. Everything was clean and and very comfortable plus there are some pillow options :) Would go back in a heartbeat.

The place and room was adorable. We’ve been traveling 3 weeks and this was my husbands favorite place. The had nice touches in bathroom like shower gel and lotion in large containers. They had a cute kit with thread and such which I needed. There was an honor system for beer and wine. The breakfast looked nice we just had coffee. Being a place with no reception check in was ok. It is a little way out in a tiny town (not even a town) with nothing around could be an issue. But we liked the room. Bed was comfortable good bathroom with nice hot shower. I would recommend.

Location was very convenient to get to Rothenburg. Very clean and cute rooms. Breakfast was delicious and much more reasonably priced than many European breakfasts. Less than 9 Euro.

Absolutely fantastic and faultless. Extremely friendly staff, stunning clean rooms and excellent food in the restaurant. To top it off, extremely competitively priced. Would happily stay again.

It's an amazing place. Feels like a story tale. Beautiful everything . Too bad we had to go on with our trip . Thank you all ! We will come back

We got put into an upstairs room on a 90-degree(32 C) day and it was tortuously hot up there with no AC or even a fan. Our room was in an outbuilding that required a 100-meter walk on the main road with a blind corner(be careful for cars!) Breakfast was nice. Staff was very nice.

We had a wonderful experience. The room was comfy. The food and wine were delicious. The breakfast buffet was awesome, with local honey and jams. They have local wine. The village is quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. They gave very good attention to our needs. We would definitely stay again.

Such a nice authentic Bavarian experience. Lovely family that run the hotel, very hospitable and prioritize your comfort and experience. So glad we stayed here and not in a touristy area, we would love to go back!

Excellent staff support; very friendly and accommodating. Great local wines and schnapps, and close to a great biking trail leading to Rothenburg ab der Tauber.

This is a BEAUTIFUL stay not to be missed. Built in 1604, it holds on to so much charm and history. The rooms have been renovated nicely making it cozy and very comfortable. Everything has been well thought of. Breakfast has a nice spread with a nice variety of honey which we ended up buying home too. A must stay!
