Stayed here on a stopover when travelling up to the Lakes. Didn't check in until after midnight and had left by 9am. Quick check in, comfy bed, quiet room. All spot on for what we needed.

Stayed one night for wedding at nearby Golf Club. Was met with a badly stained chair which was rather off-putting but could cope with for one night. Room clean but dated. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. Good location for the hotel which would benefit a refurbishment. Didn’t stay for breakfast.

Staff were very friendly and pleasant. Room was reasonably clean, though two of the lights didn't work. No housekeeping service over five nights. Beds leave a lot to be desired.

A good place to stay for a night while travelling from London to Scotland. Very convenient and friendly staff.

It is a budget hotel and very much operates to that model. If that is what you are looking for this is fine. It does what it says it's going to do. Very much not full service. Decent car park, pub right outside, good transport links. Bed comfy, bathroom basic but functional. Water pressure not great and not particularly hot, but hot enough

A well located hotel to the town centre with a pub next door that did great meals, so very convenient. The room was comfortable and clean.

The staff were first class. My only real criticism is that the bathroom looked a bit tired.

Unfortunately, you could hear through the walls what people were talking about in the rooms and in the corridor, the garbage was not picked up from our room even once and cleaning was not done even once.

We just required a bed for the night. This place was fine for the money. It is dated but it was comfortable and clean. The tea and coffee tray in the room was very welcome. Shower was more than adequate over bath. Beds were comfortable and nice clean linen. Beautiful big fluffy towels The pub next door was great value for money for drinks and food.... pub grub..... but it was good and plenty of it. All staff were friendly and welcoming. We would stay again if just requiring a stop over. We didn't have breakfast but it looked like a help yourself effort in the lobby of the hotel. All in all good value and comfortable. Certainly needs updating. Be aware no lift to upstairs floors.

Rooms were fairly large. Clean.

Excellent service from when i arrived, i forgot to mention in notes i was in a cast & they soon changed me to a ground floor room & supplied a shower mat instantly on request. Well done!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and the location was perfect for meeting family and friends..

Cheap but basic hotel

Clean and comfortable room, ample parking, reasonable prices and very friendly staff - all made our stay a good one. Definitely recommended. Breakfast was continental with option for sausage/bacon sandwich which was enough for us. Also having a pub nextdoor is a great benefit, hotel guests don't have to go around looking for restaurants - so convenient.
