A lovely comfortable bed and decent sized room. Reasonable breakfast, and nice bar and food too.

We certainly picked the right place for our visit to Heaton Park Our room was ready for 11am when we arrived early Location excellent Parking excellent Room spacious clean ,well appointed Staff were very friendly and helpfull Carvery first class Breakfast first class I highly recommend

Clean, tidy property that was well maintained. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was lovely and the hotels location on the Rochdale canal was lovely (albeit also next to the motorway). Surprisingly quiet considering the traffic. My one wish was for air conditioning or at the very least access to a fan. It was stiflingly hot in the room.

Great hotel for a trip to the Coop arena. Room refurbished and great, looked like work continuing to refurb public spaces too.

On arriving staff were friendly we stayed in the family room on ground floor the room was clean and very spacious had everything we needed for our weekend break location was very convenient especially just a short 15 minute drive to Heaton Park for the parklife 2025 event the pub attached where we had an excellent breakfast plenty of selection and staff again were amazing as too was the pub grub on the evening an all in all fantastic place to stay will most definitely stay again well done boat and horses keep up the great work

Rioms where ok barhroom needs tarted up food at night was ok coukd be a lot better but whats most important qas the breakfast decent ingredients used so left happy

Lovely hotel

Great location, lovely spacious room, great staff and bonus with the pub next door, breakfast was delicious.

Reception and restaurant staff were lovely and always willing to help. Room was very clean and comfortable with iron/ironing board and hairdryer. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful with lots of choice. Excellent value. Highly recommend the Boat & Horses.
