Everything was first class. Highly recomended

Highly recommend, we only stayed one night but wished we had more time to spend as the place has feel of your favourite armchair with many interesting curiosities. Kevin is a walking history lesson and he and Leslie serve wonderful breakfast and our stay was highlight of our stay in Annapolis Royal.

Everything was well above expectations. The host couple are welcoming and made us feel very much at home. The property is immaculate and each room (public spaces and the private room) was curated with care and attention to details. Breakfast was served hot and very nicely presented on Royal Albert chinaware. It is an easy walk into historical Annapolis Royal. Without any hesitation I would recommend the Lark & Loon to anyone looking for accommodation in Annapolis Royal. 10+ /10

If you’re looking for a place that truly gets everything right, Lark and Loon is it. From the moment you walk in, the owners go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and that warmth sets the tone for the whole experience. The breakfast alone is worth the visit. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients and attention to detail that really shows. Whether it’s perfectly cooked eggs, rich and flavorful coffee, or those little extras that elevate a meal, everything comes together beautifully. What stood out most, though, was how accommodating they were where during a difficult situation, they were very kind and supportive. It’s rare to find that balance of professionalism and genuine care. Lark and Loon isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place you want to return to again and again. Thank you for making this experience one to remember!

There is nothing that didn’t stand out. The Lark and Loon is a very special place. It’s so close to the heart of the town. It’s beautiful. It is full of intrigue and mystique, but most of all it is run by two of the most wondrous people. From the moment we stepped onto the property we were drawn in. Kevin and Lesley are brilliant hosts. Kevin’s enthusiasm is contagious, and he and Lesley provide the perfect balance for any visitor. The beds are absurdly comfortable, the environs so quiet and full of things to look at. I learned an incredible amount of local history, as well. Plus the breakfast! The fresh toast, the parfait, the scrambled eggs…it was worth getting up for. It’s a magical place, it truly is. We left feeling more like family than guests. Our hosts were knowledgeable and kind, and truly love Annapolis Royal. Plus…there is a scavenger hunt. I’ll say no more. If you’re looking for an experience to remember…absolutely you cannot go wrong with the Lark and Loon.

The Lark and Loon was a unique and fascinating b&b which provided a well appointed place to sleep and several comfortable, inviting common rooms to relax and reflect. Our hosts were friendly and attentive. The delicious breakfast was elegantly served. The L& L was a delightful find.

This was our first time at a bed & breakfast so we were a bit anxious. However, Kevin & Leslie made our stay one of the most wonderful we've ever had. Think about the most thoughtful person you know - this is the two of them. Everything is elegantly presented and immaculately clean because they want to provide the best possible experience for their guests. They have put so much love into the design of their property and into the special touches they provide for their guests.Topping it all off, breakfast was a top-notch event as well. Kevin & Leslie have truly spoiled us and we very much look forward to the next time we are able to visit the Lark & Loon!!!
