Unfortunately there wasn’t much I liked about this hotel property at all! The bathroom is a disaster the shower spray the mirror and flooded the floor, when we arrived there was no coffee K cups in the room the room was hot and was told they would turn the air conditioner on after arriving back from dinner the room was still hot and was told they would turn the air conditioner on before going to bed we call down and they said they would turn the air conditioner on and to our dismay in the morning after sleeping with the window open all night with the bar down below with loud partiers smoking and loud laughter there is no air conditioning!

A lovely hotel with surprises in terms of the restaurant (a heritage fine fine) and amazing views of the lake... Great location right in front of the bus and ferry stop and tourism office. The family running it is clearly visible and a special commendation to William at the front desk for his cheerful and guest oriented service and smile.

Overall, the hotel is good and the scenery nearby is so majestic. The hotel staffs are very nice and mindful with the customers, always showing up with a smile. For my trip, I've booked 2 rooms, one for me and one for my parents. They both said their room was perfect. Unfortunately, a towel and a pillow in my room were torn up and stained with something. However, I still recommend this hotel!!

Beautiful view, very friendly staff, central location, has the original Stubbli (pub equivalent) from the original hotel building as part of the new hotel building, lovely atmosphere

Nice lake view. Convenient and clean. Excellent breakfast. Even though the sound insulation of the balcony door is bad, it didn't bother us since the street was quite at night when we were there. It was a good stay.

The rooms have a lot of road noise. And there was a problem with smoke from an outdoor area just below the rooms. Otherwise it would have scored much higher.

The stay was good. Our young receptionist on evening shift was extraordinarily pleasant and very helpful. The room was nice but the bathroom situation was different. Not what we're use to to. No actual door but a sliding clear door with a curtain and full mirror opposite the hall wall. Great view from our balcony but noisy on the weekend with people partying in the streets.Conveniently located across the street from the boat docks.

We stayed at the Post Hotel in July, 2017. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was delicious and varied. We had a view of the lake and it was beautiful. The tourist information building is located directly across the street as is the bus stop and the ferry. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Family room. Located right next to church - the bells rang every 15 mins all through the night. I am half Swiss and I love the bells but this was crazy with two small children! The room was tatty and the mirror had been smashed and left with broken glass there. The bed sheets were full of holes and bit ironed. The staff on reception were unhelpful and looked moody all the time. Breakfast had flies and wasps on the food and again everything seemed and effort for the staff. Such a shame as it's in a perfect location

My family of four booked a "family room" at the hotel for two nights. The room was falsely advertised. Our room had a hard couch with a sheet on it and two futon mattresses pushed together as the "queen bed". Bedding and pillows were the bare minimum. Bedding was dirty. Shower head did not work. Bathroom was dirty. There were noticeable dirty fingerprints on the lamp. The Wifi ONLY worked in the bathroom. We checked into this hotel later at night given our travel times. It was too late to change hotels. We then booked rooms at another hotel for the following night. We could not stay there another night.

The location is amazing looking over the ferry terminal. The service was just horrible. From the time we tried to book in and tgey couldnt didn't the details of the booking from hotels.com and had us sitting waiting with no time line to tell us wether would could stay or in what type room. We eventually got them to they had a smaller room we could use and got them to call us so we didnt just stay in the lobby. The breakfast was very slack. Lime tge kids hadnt prepared before. Things like no glasses out for juices no milk for cereal and tgey couldnt work out no beans in coffee machine and tgey didnt fix tge problems in 30mins we stayed for breakfast even tgey said they would.

Room was advertised with air conditioning and didn't have it. Instead the room initially allocated was full of bugs. We requested a change to have air conditioning in our room and we're given a room that had not been cleaned properly ( old champagne glasses left on bench) and was the size of a shoe box. There was no drinking glasses and toiletries were very basic. Bed and pillows were hard and too soft respectively and we couldn't wait to leave the hotel.

Nice stay, enjoy the awesome view from balcony. Very good breakfast. Parking 15euro is too expensive.

Even during off season once can expect a Level of Service - cleaning of room very poorly done, staff at reception with very Little knowledge of German, towels in Spa were not exchanged, Bar was closed, breakfast ok but bread not fresh. Room would have been nice and the Location is fantastic but seems as if the Hotel is not doing well.

Great room, great view, the lads on the front desk amazing service, never met two guys so helpful!

The hotel itself was nice, if a bit oddly designed; however, the view of the lake was lovely. We had a bit of a problem with the WiFi in our room, but after asking the front desk the staff member brought a WiFi extender to our room to boost the signal which helped immensely.

This is a very nice hotel. Breakfast was good but inconsistent, much better first day than second. Wifi worked well. The view from the balcony was amazing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was little things. There is a coffee maker but only wine glasses that don't fit under the coffee maker. It said there was a minibar but there was not. The plugs were weirdly placed.
