I have stayed at Puerto Libre 4 times now, and I will continue to stay there every time I visit the island. I've done the all inclusive resorts, and another smaller hotel, but nothing compares to Puerto Libre. The view is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and it's so conveniently located/walkable. Customer service is top notch.

Loved our room with ocean view, comfortable bed and rain shower head. Only negative the safe did not work, but they did try to fix it. Centrally located, could get noisy outside on Friday and Saturday nights.

Room was great. AC worked & plenty of pillows. Bathroom was clean. Not the best pool for swimming, but enough to cool off. Staff was very nice & helpful with luggage.

If they give you a voucher for a free drink at La Monika, go there and have dinner and watch the sunset!

Beautiful clean hotel and the staff was very friendly and super helpful on places to visit. I will 100% stay here again. The pool area puts the icing on the cake. Heads up it’s on the “strip” near the port so a lot of traffic but nothing noisy and it didn’t bother us.

Just got home from a week stay at Puerto Libre. A beautiful new hotel. The location is great, and it is very close to the main shopping area and several great restaurants. My only complaint is the cleanliness. We stayed here a year ago and the cleanliness has gone downhill. They clearly do not mop the floors between each guest and the towels and bedding had stains on them. The people were kind but forgot on two occasions to bring fresh towels and to fix the air conditioner. They did eventually get around to it. Will probably stay there again but will insist on making sure the room is cleaned better.

First time staying here and loved it. The property was very clean, such a friendly staff, new hotel with great views of the ocean from every room and very convenient to walk anywhere.

Great location with the sunset across the street & tons of fabulous restaurants & shopping all in easy walking distance! Hotel was very clean & the staff was wonderful! Plenty of storage space in the room & the beds were very comfortable! Would stay again for sure!

Great location and ocean view

Very nice ocean view property. New construction as of 3 years ago. Rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. Rooms have a fridge and safe. Water is available for drinking. AC works well, WIFI also strong. Always had hot water which looks like it can be problem on other hotel reviews. Main Street (Melgar) is right below but they did a good job with sound proofing rooms. Would stay here again.

Deposit was higher than listed and higher than other places. Property was clean but floor needs to be mopped it was very dirty. Everything was nice and modern and I would possibly be back.

Rooms, ocean views, and double beds were good. Quiet and clean. Breakfast, Lunch open air cafe with another owner on the floor up, had a nice menu, good coffee, and a great view of the ocean.
