Excellent room, very clean. Staff were very helpful. The restaurant on site was very good too. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Overall very happy, will definitely stay again.

Excellent Hotel, superb food exceptional customer service 15/10

Quick take: Flights delayed by snow, booking chaos, hotel staff saved the night, food mostly great, New Year’s Eve service not so much. • Booking mess: Booked through MakeMyTrip, had to cancel last minute because of snow. Hotel said they canceled without fees, MakeMyTrip tried to charge us anyway — classic “blame the app” move. • Front desk hero: At 10 PM, after many calls, Amrutha at reception was a superstar. She tried everything to help, even phoned higher-ups. We finally rebooked on the spot via Expedia. • Food and staff: Restaurant food was excellent. Mohanan (chai master), Rahul, and others were standout people who made the meal better. • NYE fail: On Dec 31 we waited over an hour plus for dinner, had to remind staff multiple times, and many menu items were unavailable. Charging premium prices for slow service felt wrong. • Rooms: Clean and well kept. Small gripe — only two towels; bring a third if you like luxury. Overall: Solid stay thanks to great staff, but watch out for booking platform drama and avoid dining on NYE unless you like long waits.

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast spread was too good. Food was tasty and they had a wide variety. Rooms were clean. I will highly recommend this hotel.

Taj Vivanta is an oasis in Trivandrum. I had amazing service with personal touches from everyone from the manager, front desk, pool attendant, bartender, restaurant service. All top notch! My suite was spacious and well appointed, wifi was reliable, and the pool was an added luxury.

Front office people are a saving grace. Room is mid. Food has no flavor, just oily junk served at crazy prices. They serve a few options but shockingly nothing has taste (tried over two days bf,lunch and dinner). Avoid if you want to eat good food. Chef was friendly but what use?

This was our first stay, and we absolutely loved it! I have nothing but praise for the entire team behind this wonderful experience. A heartfelt thank you to the friendly front desk amigos who gave us such a warm welcome. The hospitality here is truly one of a kind—offered with not just professionalism, but a genuine, smiling human touch. The infinity pool was simply mesmerizing, offering a perfect spot to relax and take in the view. The buffet was carefully crafted to satisfy every appetite, with a wide variety of delicious options. Many thanks again for making our stay so special. We will definitely be staying again!

No refrigerator in the room to keep water or drinks cold. Had only wine cooler.
