The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near the morning market and kopitiam.

Artotel is always the best. I love the room concept, the facilities, and the quality of the furnishings. The massage service needs improvement. It doesn't seem to be a massage, just a pressure point.

I have been staying in this hotel most of the time when I visit Batam. The location was super convenient. The wet market is just behind and Grand Batam Mall is just opposite. The room is spacious and the breakfast spread is good. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The minus point this time was the bedsheet. The inner layer had a lot of stains. But this was a one-time issue. Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

Staff was friendly and helpful. There's laundry service and in-house massage service. Just need to improve on bedsheet and pillow covers as I could see yellow stains. Bathroom was clean. Yes, there's a 24-hour convenient store beside the hotel and walking distance to many shops and mall.

I had informed the staff about the aircon being faulty. They sent a maintenance team to look into it, but the status still remains the same; it was not resolved. During the daytime, it felt like a sauna.

Love the location, staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Food was great too. Would stay here again the next time I visit Batam.

Overall, a good experience thanks to the location, service, and room. But the breakfast could benefit from an update.

It’s not “just Batam” - this stay made the whole trip exciting. The location is absolutely perfect - walking distance to Grand Batam Mall, less than 10 minutes’ drive to Nagoya Mall, BCS, and DC Mall, and close to Harbourbay Terminal. Circle K right below the hotel, and Spa Central is just down the road. The service is amazing. Every staff member were trained well - smiling away and friendly. We even checked in late at night and received a queen-size bed, even though we booked two single beds. Breakfast spread was fantastic and made our mornings enjoyable. They had local specialties like Lontong Medan, Martabak Manis, four types of Jamu drinks, and keropoks. They also have a bar area and a smoking lounge as well. Room was perfect. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was huge for a standard hotel room and included all the basic amenities. Extras like a coffee machine, chocolates in the fridge, and full glass windows were much appreciated. Smoking rooms are available, and they’ll deliver an ashtray on request. Overall, 10/10. I would 100% recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Artotel is my go-to accommodation whenever I am in Batam. Fantastic price point for a comfortable and restful stay. Staff are amazing as well, always doing their best to accommodate requests as much as they can.

Stayed here for 3 years, very well maintained. Coffee machine in room is the best. The aircon is strong enough and the TV is smart enough to be able to cast from handphone.
