Great location in the heart of Gananoque. Short walking distance to all restaurants, walking trails, waterfront. The Chrysler House is a historical building but is beginning to show its age ( no pun intended). The bathroom tile grout in the room we stayed needs to be cleaned/bleached to restore the grout back to white. Antique carpet in hallway stained and frayed. The in window AC unit’s power cord runs across passage way to closet causing a potential tripping hazard.

It is close to shopping , restaurants and walking paths. The single bed in the Heritage room needs replacing as it really squeeks so any little movement in the night wakes everyone up.

First the positive; it's a great location if you're taking one of the thousand island boat cruises. The docks are only a 5 minute walk away. The negatives; this is not a B&B, as there are no meals offered. Having said that, the room rate is less than nearby B&Bs. We stayed in the Garden room on the main floor which is in need of a refurbishment. The bed was fine, but there is no TV and the furnishings are pretty much at the end of their usefulness. The owners purchased this property at the beginning of 2020 so perhaps Covid derailed any plans that they may have had to do a makeover. However, it's been 5 years now and there are many other B&B options in town to choose from.

The location is convenient closed to harbour and the street with restaurants, shops and supermarket. The property is quite old but building it’s clean and with good maintenance and vibes. The host is really helpful and reply promptly.

Beautiful location, the most comfortable bed and linens, did not want to leave the bed! Lovely and unique old house, just an awesome spot to walk around and eat/shop. Highly recommend, worth every penny. Bring the people you love here :) P.S. stayed in the Maritime room.

This 1826 (X) B&B , now a small hotel is very tired. In its glory days it must have been a 4 or 5 star place but now it is not. It has the potential of being a 5 star but its going to require lots of work, inside and out. It has a great charm, great location, it is quiet and easy walking distance to everything. The restaurant next door (Riva) is a must. we stayed for 4 nights in the Garden Room, it was very large and had access to the front porch. Over all we enjoyed our trip to 1000 island area and and had a very good time . Matt a friend of the inn keeper was very helpful and pleasent to talk to.

This is an old house, requiring so much maintenance and updating. Sadly that was lacking. The location was lovely, right next door to Riva restaurant which was a great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Chrysler house. It's a grand building that pre-dates confederation. We stayed in the Garden Suite which is a massive room, complete with private bath and jacuzzi tub. Check-in was a bit unnerving as there was nobody there to greet us, but we found our room and the key with a welcome letter. We later met the host, who was very pleasant, along with the homes Great Dane named Lucy. She had a beautiful temperament, but if dogs aren't your thing??? The hotel is in great proximity to everything from the water, to the shopping, to the park. Our biggest issue was that while numerous on-line sources listed it as a B&B, it did not include a breakfast. I double-checked our correspondence to confirm, but found that other reviewers had said the same. It appears that listing or advertisements in the likes of Trip Advisor and other sources need adjusting. On a lessor note, there is also no TV in the room. I could have been totally into this if there was no electricity and therefore providing the century experience, but it seemed strange. At the end of the day, we had a good experience, but had a few surprises.

Stayed in the Peninsula Room. Small, but comfortable. Shower was downstairs, but that was fine. Great location, easy walk to waterfront and downtown. Beautiful old home with a very comfortable sitting room to read. Majestic Great Dane was very welcoming. I'll stay again on my next trip to Gananoque.
