Clean room, helpful staff.

Overall, it was great. Staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean and looked newly renovated. Although, it claimed to have a smart tv, the tv was just regular television that only allowed you to click on the live cable. But even live tv didn’t work. And my only other complaint would be the sliding bathroom door. It just wouldn’t close and it would slide open.

Overall this was an okay hotel. It was clean. Rooms were a bit small and bathroom sink was designed very poorly. Surrounding area doesn't provide a lot but it was pretty easy getting to a subway. The restaurant service was poor at best. Wouldn't even bother with it.

I didn't like getting hit with a charge at the hotel when I checked in. I thought all was paid for when I booked through Cheap Tickets.

The property was clean and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately the days i was there Jalao wasnt open due to the holiday and breakfast was not available as i was there on a monday and Tuesday. Other than that it was a comfortable stay and i would come back.

Nice boutique hotel for a one night stay

Run! Very unsafe area. Staff was very indifferent and they seemed like they don't wanna be there. Room was small and shower barely had any pressure. Very loud, you could hear everything-birds, traffic, sirens, people walking 😒

The location leaves a lot to be desired, the area where it is located is really a problem, I do not recommend it at all, then when you are checking in they surprise you with other extra charges for using the "facilities" (none), the rooftop is not enabled, only for events, that is to say in the end you pay more money, you will be far from everything and the area where it is is the worst there is.

Staff was friendly.

I liked the style of this property, the room was a perfect size for one person, might have been tight to fit two. I didn’t like the shower, water pressure was weak and the bathroom layout made it difficult to use the shower or the sink without getting water everywhere. The desk in the room wasn’t very useful for working at, but the lobby has one desk that was in high demand while I was there, but really great for working when it was available. Overall, glad I stayed here for one night, wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

Very nice front desk staff and good restaurant in the hotel!

This hotel is located right at the upper end of Manhattan, close to the Bronx. Not exactly a posh area. People drinking in parked cars at 7 a.m.! However, you don't feel unsafe. The hotel is very unusual and funky. Good for a weekend break. Decent gym. Rooms - clean, but avoid the cheapest ones, as they are extremely small and claustrophobic. Go for the bigger ones. You will get a fair bit of noise from adjoining rooms/ corridors. Not really designed for business travelers, the chair/ desk setup is quite uncomforable. This hotel is for tourists who need a relatively inexpensive place to stay, close to the subway. The restaurant is great.

Good short stay It was misleading to say Parking included rather Self Pay Parking near by would be ideal.

Close to visiting my family

They had me give them my card too even tho I booked thru Expedia, saying it would be for a hold/deposit. They charged me extra fees directly on my card. Even though I didn’t do anything to trigger the deposit. They kept some of these for “processing fees” and refused to refund me. BS

Loud music till 4am to the point the room would shake,balls of Hair in towels … and last but not least the AC was a portable AC , Who checked me in did advice about the ac wasnt working right but not that it was a portable ac with a TUBE connection! I paid 316 dollars for one night for this?

The room was great! It was small but clean, quite efficient and neatly arranged. However, the air conditioner did not work at all, and there was no hot water for a shower 1 of my 2 days there. Room temp was 76+ degrees, and water was cold. I reported the air conditioner issue on first day; water issue on second day. When reported, front desk said they would let their engineer know.
