I booked this apartment from Traveloka but the unit is managed by Travelio. Due to their lousy check in system, I couldn’t get in until late at night. But when I requested for late check out, they just dismissed it. Poor coordination between Travelio customer service officers.
This unit shouldn’t be rented out because there’s an ongoing construction either on the unit above or next door? The banging sounds start from around 8-8:30 AM, every single day, during our whole stay! The noise is SUPER LOUD! It’s crazy!! I video recorded it.
The unit wasn’t properly cleaned. Dusty furniture and kitchen. The bathroom was kind of Okay.
There’s a balcony but the door can’t be opened. The funny thing is, brooms and other cleaning stools are placed in the balcony area, so we couldn’t use them.
On the second day, we experienced a short blackout. when I reached out to Travelio they said the cause might be there’s not enough electricity credits and in such case guests are expected to buy the credit first (token system) then they’ll reimburse it.
The apartment building has a night curfew. Lobby entrance doors are locked and guests need to go through garage / basement to enter the building. We weren’t properly informed about this and on the second night of our stay, we were stranded outside for quite a while. At night time, in the PECATU building there’s no security guard around. Only some guards for the whole complex.
I wonder if those type of issues I mentioned above are common when it comes renting an apartment hotel?
