The building was wonderful, lots of room to sit and relax. Out room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed

We found this bed and breakfast easily and entry was simple. It felt unusual to have nobody there to welcome visitors. The only people around were other guests who tended to stay in their rooms and not really mix with others. Our room (The Pine) was very compact with a bathroom next door for our use. There wasn't a lock on the outside so we didn't feel comfortable leaving our things in this bathroom. As this was at the top of the first flight of stairs I felt uncomfortable going into the bathroom without getting changed out of my nightclothes first. Our bedroom was very small with the bed being right beside the door so as the door was opened the person in the bed was visible. There wasn't a bin in the bedroom or any hairdryer available either in the bathroom or in the bedroom.The breakfast in the morning was a perfect size and well presented.

There was no heating on in the building and we found it very cold in the room. At this price point I would have expected a warm and comfortable room. Secondly there was no tea coffee making facilities in the room. Once more this is disappointing for a property at this price point.

Interesting property. Well kept, decor is vintage and very nice/ Interesting. Owners and staff were not there that evening. The gal that served breakfast was pleasant.

Our stay was brief but lovely. The breakfast was fantastic, bed was comfortable and we were grateful for the window air conditioner as it was rather warm during our stay. The bedding was perhaps a bit too warm for such a warm night but not bad for one night sleep. The shower amenities were very nice and it was the perfect stop on our drive to Gros Morne.
