The area where this hotel is located is in downtown and the entrance to the hotel seems like its in a back alley and crowded with valet and trying to unload. That is my only complaint, other than that, everything was great. The elevators are fast like lightning speed, so that was very nice.

I loved my time and stay here and would absolutely pick this hotel again immediately next time I find myself in the area. The staff and location were so kind and fantastic to me and all the food and drinks were so so tasty! Not to mention the view from the skylounge and my room! Love, love, LOVED it!!

Cool surrounds, comfy bed and lovely shower Great gym Enjoyed the Aussie coffee shop and the destination dollars were helpful Why no moisturiser or herbal tea room amenities? Happy with service when I called but didn’t like the AI reception lady on the phone - too impersonal and a bit pushy

housekeeping was good. The layouts confusing and I couldn’t find the eighth floor and there was no microwave in the room.

On Expedia, the room was listed at around $200/night when I reserved it (with Expedia confirming the price on the website). When we check in, we're hit with a flurry of extra charges for every day of our stay. They charged us an extra 35.00/night for things we didn't ask for (Grammy Museum tickets, bike rentals, an $18 "credit" to make sure you use their restaurants/bars). That, along with other fees we weren't told about made our total about $370 more than I had budgeted for based on their Expedia listing. The worst part was that I booked this hotel almost exclusively for access to the pool (which Expedia lists as an amenity). We were there for four days, and the pool was off limits to us for all four days. First, there was a pool party, and they tried to charge us $50 to get in. The next two days, they had reserved it for some event in the evenings, so they covered the pool with a floor, making it unusable during the days as well. Not once were we informed by the staff of this, either. When we checked in, they made sure to let us know how to get to the pool, but never mentioned that we would never be permitted to use it. I expected Hotels to be sneaky with their fees, but didn't expect Expedia to back them up. Extremely disappointing.

The staff and hotel itself is absolutely amazing! We had a great time and the staff was a huge help. The property is absolutely beautiful! The pool situation was tough. Only open until 4pm even on the weekends. The pool is much smaller in person than online. They usually have events happening at the pool on the weekends so it usually $30 a head to even get in and then you can’t really swim. You pretty much have to use valet parking which is $65+ A DAY. Otherwise if you use a different public parking lot it’s $50 EVERY TIME you park. So if you’re leaving multiple times a day that would be very pricey so you don’t have much choice but to use their valet. BUT though the valet service is pricey it was worth it I suppose. You just text to get your car when you want to leave. The valet staff is amazing. Overall had such an amazing time at this hotel!

Solid 4/5. Rooms are clean, furniture is new, staff is helpful and welcoming, the view from our room was very beautiful. For those unfamiliar with LA, Downtown isn’t very much the place to take a walk outside in the evening as there are a lot of homeless people and crackheads around (but you feel much safer during daytime). Would definitely recommend anyone visiting LA as its one of the best, if not the best, hotels in its price range. If you are planning to rent a car, overnight parking will cost you 60$/night.

It has pros and cons. Driving into hotel/valet is congested. We arrived st4:30 and room was not ready. They upgraded and room was not ready:/ We had reservations for finer so we took what was available. The room is small. Lots of light and big window but… poor lighting in the vanity. Hotels has several bars which were great. The check-in was the worse
