I had the most wonderful five nights stay, at Lower Severalls Farmhouse. Mike and Mary are wonderful hosts and gave me lots of tips on the area. Mike makes a most delicious breakfast, and has a great sense of humor. The Farmhouse and grounds are beautiful and relaxing. My room was lovely, with beams and the most comfortable bed, with the softest linens. I slept well every night. I would definitely love to stay again.

The property is beautiful--very historic and full of character. It had just the right amount of modern touches to be comfortable without sacrificing historic charm. I loved eating in the old dining room--very good breakfasts--and being able to walk in the lovely garden. There are also 2 very good restaurants nearby for dinner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. The room was spacious and clean and the B&B was centrally located between many attractions in the surrounding areas. Our hosts Mary and Mike were kind and welcoming and always up for a friendly chat. The breakfast was delicious--I'm still thinking about it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Very warm welcome by Mary and Mike, superb standards of the room, tasty breakfast, quiet location, lovely gardens to explore, there's even a pet pig! A beautiful 16th century farmhouse, short drive from all the sea towns and attractions, especially for children as there are many fossil finding locations along the jurassic coast. Highly recommended!

In our opinion B&Bs don't come much better than this one. Comfortable and relaxed stay in a beautiful farmhouse. The tasteful en-suite room was in a separate building, with the delicious and plentiful breakfast served in the 17th century dining room with huge fireplace. The owners are friendly, interesting and yet discreet. Lovely garden with nursery attached. There is a convenient pub with restaurant only 5 minutes walk away.

Booked this as somewhere that was vaguely in the middle of everywhere we wanted to visit for a few days. There really isn't any obvious reason to go to Crewkerne, the nearest civilisation, but here you will find very comfortable accommodation, plenty of space, nice haphazard parking with no lines in sight anywhere and good food. Don't be put off on arrival by crumbling stone or various bits of machinery or car here and there. It's lovely inside. Plenty of room and there is quite a selection of beds and sofas to choose from which the people are happy to move around to suit your group (as other bookings permit). You do need to be a bit sociable in the mornings as breakfast is at a kitchen table seating about eight so you can't really not speak to anyone unless you pretend to be very foreign. But don't say you're from Bulgaria or the man of the house will catch you out, having various adventures there to recite if you're not in a hurry. Good food and a marvellous selection of cereals, jams, meat and whatever else breakfast may or may not entail. This is not a place for idiots or the uncultured used to Premier Inn ubiquity. If you like plants and garden things then wander around and buy stuff from the nursery before you go.

We stayed here as we attended a wedding just over the road at haselbury mill and made a two night stay of it. The jasmine suit was spacious and comfortable and quiet. It has access separate from the main farm house. Breakfast was a good spread. There is a nice pub/restaurant with big gardens right across the road. Our hosts were nice and even introduced us to their pet pig, a nice quirk!

This farmhouse is situated in a rural area near Crewkerne and close to a complex where we attended a family party. The accommodation is in what appears to be renovated farm buildings and our room was up stone steps to a large bedrooom. We awoke to snow but were rewarded with a good farmhouse breakfast.
