Would have given this hotel 5stars but for one thing. Our lie ins were disturbed by noisy cleaning staff chattering loudly outside our room all morning. They were so loud that they woke us every morning with their catch up chats. Otherwise everything was perfect...large rooms, comfy beds, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and lots of parking.

Great location, 20 min drive Southampton and from New Forest for walks. Lovely old pub, beautifully clean and welcoming. We ate in the garden and enjoyed our Caesar salad and burgers. Accommodation is in separate thatched building to one side of the pub and was quiet. Twin room (2 single beds) was huge with large walk-in shower. Breakfast cooked to order plus cereals, pastries etc on buffet. Coffee brought to our table. Staff all friendly and helpful. Will stay again. Only slight negative was that we were woken by light around the curtains early in the morning. Thanks.

Lovely place to stay, convenient to the Beaulie Motor Museum garden event. Family room was ideal as we were a couple with small dog on ground poor. Bath and separate shower were great. Good room amenitie, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer (separate vanity mirror) iron and ironing board. Lovely touch dog bowl and treat Bag with ball and poo bags. Restaurant / Pub separate across the car park so no noise and dinner and breakfast excellent. Staff very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely book again. Couple from Hastings East Sussex.

The room was clean and comfortable, but it was quite noisy, especially on our last day. The very young girls who are the cleaning crew, were sitting right outside our door chatting, laughing and playing on their phones waiting for us to check out even though we had more than an hour till checkout time. We found it to be quite unprofessional. The breakfast service was mediocre the first day but much better the second. It's a nice place to get away from the city center, but not as quiet as I had expected it to be.

The room and hotel itself is really really good and the breakfast amazing. However they miscommunicated charges for a child that was listed on the booking and two dogs which caused a lot of stress and was very disappointing.

Excellent stay ticked all boxes

Wow what a great place to stay and eat. The hotel is spotless and our room was a lovely size and really comfortable. The pub is just opposite and it had a great atmosphere and we received a great welcome from the staff who were all brilliant. After some drinks we had dinner and the food was really fresh and cooked perfectly and really reasonably priced. Breakfast was included you help yourself to the buffet table which had plenty of choice then we had a full English. Just like dinner the food was great quality and cooked perfectly. We will definitely book again amazing place
