Hotel is near to mall road but you have to walk 100 mts to reach the hotel. Views from hotel is nice, good food and staff is very supportive. Now, when talk to rooms, if you are looking for old age room then it's fine otherwise not ok.

Property though its heritage but not refurbished as per the guest requirement. Even in cold heater was not working

Nice heritage hotel with huge rooms with high ceilings. Very central with lake view.

Hotel is more than century old, it’s not what picture shows. For Indians visiting it’s fine for foreigners it is not up to the standards specially the bathroom. Unfortunately this is the best in Nainital. Under the circumstances being very old the hotel needs total renovation. Service, food and certain amenities were good.

Pros: Property has vintage feeling, rooms are of not that big size staff is good. They have one live singing performance and bon fire as well. Good view from property. Cons: Its not a cons but book it if you are ready for vintage type of rooms like old style switches fans. It is not a modern style hotel but facilities are all modern here
