The people was nice. We were in the heart of the Sassi. Amazing room.

Absolutely beautifully designed resort hotel. Villa rooms are very clean and private with 5 star amenities (shower robes, slippers, tea station with private bar). Location was the best to view and quickly access Matera rich food culture and history. Staff was very professional and friendly and always asked if we needed anything. We had the privilege to meet the husband and wife owners. They were very nice and even gave us a special lucky #17 parting gift. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Beautiful stay, with 10/10 service. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location was perfect, with views of the duomo, church and valley below. The hotel itself is designed in a contemporary finish but stills pays homage to its incredible history. Lastly the true highlight was the staff, from reception to the bar to the cleaners, everyone was so welcoming, kind and friendly! We would 100% stay again!! Beyond 5* service!

This place is not only gorgeous but the staff was in incredibly attentive and kind. The room was beautiful. Amenities were nice. The breakfast was delicious. Everything from that moment we got there was perfect. Just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Good location in Matera. Parking info could have been more helpful. Very weighted to using the 40 euro/day option whereas the 5 euro garage was in fact very easy and immediately outside the garage. More helpful if they gave a link to find out the timetable of the shuttle. It is on the hour and half hour at the garage and it is right outside the hotel in Matera on the quarter hour.

The staff at Pianelle were thoroughly professional and ready to serve the guests in any way requested. Everything about Pianelle enhanced the quality of our stay.

Its a Small boutique hotel, right in the heart of the Caveoso Sasi from Matera. You fell like in a movie. They give us an a gourgeous room inside the cavern. Absolutly spectacular. The parking is 10 min car and there is a shuttle. The cost EU 40. Very good room Nice breakfast. You should go !

The rooms and facilities are modern and first-rate in design and function. The staff, from reception, food and beverages and housekeeping are warm, efficient and friendly. Guests are well-cared for. We look forward to another stay.

We loved our stay in PIANELLE Resort. The location was terrific and the hotel was beautifully designed with a great attention to detail and comfort. The staff were friendly and very professional. At one point we needed a prescription filled and one of the staff went personally to the pharmacy and returned with the medication.

Very comfortable modern hotel in great location close to all the attractions. I had a message from reception the week before explaining me all the details and parking options. Really appreciate it as Matera is pedestrian city. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We has a standard , but there were enough place for everything. Hotel has only 17 rooms , so it very quiet and personal. Great selection with local producers or cheese and yogurts on the breakfast. It was delicious! Thank you for our lovely stay ! We would like to come back.
