I stayed at Toan Thang Stone Hotel for two days, from 00:30 on January 4th, 2026 to 18:00 on January 6th, 2026, in room 1001. The overall experience did not meet expectations for a 4-star hotel.
Upon arrival at 00:30, there was no security guard or lobby staff available to open doors or assist with luggage. The taxi stopped in front of the hotel, and I had to get out, carry my luggage myself, and proactively seek out the reception desk. After complaining, a female receptionist came down to assist, explaining that "the security guard was busy." The lack of staff on duty at night is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.
Furthermore, the attitude of the security staff was deeply disappointing. Their communication with guests was impolite, gesticulating, and speaking curtly, unsuitable for a high-rated hotel.
The next morning, the toilet in my room was clogged, forcing me to call a technician to fix it. After a tiring night of traveling and because it was so late, I didn't request a room change and accepted the temporary stay. However, this incident further highlights the lack of thorough room inspection before handover.
In addition, the room's cleanliness was poor. The bed, headboard, sofa, and fabric surfaces showed old stains and visible dust. The bedsheets and areas of direct contact didn't feel clean, significantly impacting my overall stay.
The room was reasonably sized, but the quality of hygiene, service attitude, and operational procedures were completely inconsistent with the advertised price and star rating. The recurring problems indicate a lack of control in operational procedures and staff training, especially during nighttime and early morning hours.
I hope the hotel will seriously review its 24/7 lobby duty procedures, retrain its security staff on service attitudes, and thoroughly check the condition of rooms (especially cleanliness and toilet facilities) before handing them over to guests. Without significant improvement, the actual experience will hardly meet customer expectations.
