Really unique stay and staff went out of their way to ensure I had an early breakfast before taking part in an ultra event. If you contact them in advance they will reserve you a parking space outside.

Beautiful property I loved my stay

We enjoyed a unique and enjoyable 2 night stay, in Leith. Oodles of eating options nearby and the nearby 34, 35 & 36 travelling into Edinburgh on a regular basis.

So firstly of all, it is carefully and marvellously put together, very much worth the effort. Has air conditioning, and the full cabins have a big, comfy bed - the best of the whole trip. The people were really nice, the location was lovely, not a lot to complain about at all

What a really unusual place to stay. We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and really helpful, esp as the trams were not working so we got a great explanation of which buses would take us to various locations. I love the art deco period and this boat certainly did not disappoint. We will definitely be back! Its s hidden gem in Leith.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice but if you’re looking for a cooked breakfast you can get one across in the Ship in the Shore. I was happy with the choice of breakfast items!

The Ocean Mist is a delight, particularly if you remember the sad state it was in a few years back. Now it has a super mix of original details and modern comforts, managed by smiling, helpful staff in naval uniforms. Bed and linens are top notch - there isn’t a tv, but if you want to stay in your cabin the wi-fi will let you stream. Much better to have a cocktail in the wood-paneled bar while deciding which of Leith’s amazing array of eateries to try. Breakfast is ‘continental’, so no fry up, but a generous and tasty selection that doesn’t disappoint.

Ocean Mist Hotel was a pleasant, clean, and cheerful place to stay. The hotel has a bright, happy feel, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. I would recommend booking one of the larger rooms if your budget allows, as the extra space makes the stay more comfortable. The room was very clean, and the decor was memorable in a good way. The ship-like nautical theme gives the hotel some personality and makes it feel different from a plain chain hotel. The included breakfast was continental, simple but convenient, and a nice start to the day. Overall, this is a clean, welcoming hotel with kind staff and a fun atmosphere. Nice full bar. Very good restaurant steps away.

Great place to stay. Super charming.

I didn't realize when I booked the hotel it was a refurbished boat. It was very cool. The staff was so very helpful in visiting the city and with directions. I enjoyed speaking with Gordon, Brian, Matt and Daniel. Matt advised me to take the tram to the airport and it was a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel as it is unique.

Very nice rooms, quite for a city centre location and very close to good restaurants

First class staff and accommodation. Breakfast was continental style (and plenty of it). Parking was an unexpected additional charge (£10) however this did not detract from a lovely stay in a very comfortable room.

What a unique hotel, we loved it and would definitely stay again. The staff were all fantastic. The bar had great cocktails and the breakfast was just what you need! Location is great and the optional add on parking is very reasonable!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Ocean Mist. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly crew member who stored our bags while we explored. We had some fizz in our cabin which was pre-booked. Our cabin was spacious, comfortable and very thoughtfully decorated. We had everything we needed and more. The bar was fabulous and the cocktails were delicious. The smell of smoke coming up the stairs soon told us cocktails were being made! The views out on deck were great. There is a whole cabinet of games to borrow to play as well. The continental breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice with some different breads to try. The hotel is ideally located to explore Leith. We were a stone’s throw away from some fantastic restaurants and we enjoyed a Cretan taverna our first evening and a special fine dining experience the second evening. There are so many lovely cafes and shops nearby. Port of Leith distillery is a short stroll away and a must visit - the views alone are spectacular! The tram makes it very easy to get in and out of the city centre and to and from and airport. The Shore is the nearest stop to the hotel. What made the stay for us at Ocean Mist was the staff - they were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend the hotel to everyone. A very special stay!

Ocean Mist exceeded all expectations. The room was stylish, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. The location in Leith was perfect for exploring Edinburgh. Excellent facilities, great atmosphere, and outstanding service made this a memorable visit. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our stay at Ocean Mist, and the weather definately was an added bonus. The staff were curtious and polite. The room was good althou a little smaller than I had anticipated as we had previously stayed on another boat in the area and the room was bit bigger. The room had been well thought out and the bathroom was lovely. We enjoyed the the breakfast more than adequate and had a few drinks in the bar, which was also reasonably priced. We would definately stay here again and would recommend to others.
