A lovely hotel with very helpful and welcoming staff. Room was quiet, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold dishes, juices and pastries. Excellent location near sites of Porto and restaurants within walking distance. Train station Sao Bento within 10 minutes walk

Our stay at ICON Duplo Ribeira was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome – warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The hotel itself is in fantastic condition, beautifully modern and stylish, yet still very comfortable. The location couldn’t be better – just steps away from amazing food options and right by the water, which made exploring the Ribeira area so easy and enjoyable. Every detail felt well thought out, and it truly made our trip special. Very good location. Staff was excellent

I would give it a 5 star rating except we were given a room on the second floor where the window faces a stone wall, no sunlight, small and the shower stall was missing a door. The next morning we were offered a much better room, larger with windows facing a laneway with some sunlight. Staff were excellent and breakfast was good,

What a great find in the center of everything yet still quiet. I slept so well and was extremely comfortable. The continental breakfast was quite nice also!

The location couldn’t be better — only blocks away from the river and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. Despite being in a high traffic area, the windows do an amazing job blocking most of the noise. The room was spacious and comfortable. But what really set this place apart was the hotel staff! They went out of their way to help us — from restaurant recommendations to directions, they even helped us coordinate transportation to the train (which doesn’t seem like a big deal, but when you find yourself in the middle of the Festival of Sao Joao at midnight and realize you might still struggle to get an uber a 8am, they helped us pre-book transportation amidst the wild celebrations across the city).

We stayed in a room at the back of the hotel on the 8th floor. It was very quiet - nice large room. Incredibly stylish decor. Although there are no wardrobes or drawers for storage, the concrete shelving and racks are a neat way to stylishly store everything. Good breakfasts. The staff noticed that it was my partner’s birthday - without any prodding from me, they arranged for a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolate cake and a nice card - very thoughtful and typical of their excellent service. The hotel is in a very good location near the ribeira waterfront. Overall and excellent stay.

This hotel was amazing. I’ve stayed in many high-end hotels around the world, and this one truly impressed me. The décor is beautiful, the room was spacious enough for both my mom and me, and the bathroom—especially the shower—was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options and attentive staff constantly replenishing everything. Honestly, it had everything you could want in a hotel breakfast and it was such a bonus it was included. We stayed on the classic side of the hotel, and everything was well maintained and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the Douro River and close to all the main attractions, even for my 70-year-old mom. The staff were incredibly helpful and even gave us a detailed overview of what to see and where to eat. If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-located hotel with great service—this is it!

Small boutique hotel in an excellent location. Our room was a decent size, very comfortable and clean, and had aircon. The breakfast buffet was good with a large selection of foods. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. There were of shops, restaurants and tourist sights within easy walking distance. We would definitely use this hotel again on a future visit to Porto.

Nice hotel and perfect location in the historic area of Porto and very close to the Ribeira river front. Great staff, fully supportive for all necessary information while visiting the city for few days. Excellent buffet breakfast, clearly a great place to stay for a short visit in Porto. I would highly recommend this place.

Great location - we walked to everything. Very close to River 1 1/2 blocks. Hard for uber driver to find right in front of hotel so had to walk to corner. Most amazing breakfast!
