This very clean and spacious property offers a unique blend of shopping and dining options and even a mall in a local charming neighborhood. The tram at the doorstep took us in about 15 minutes right to the Centre of Vienna.

Was a great stay. 10 stops away from central using the tram number 49. Tram stop is just at the door step. Multiple food restaurants at your door step be it halal or non halal. Lidl is just around the corner which closes at 8pm except saturday which is at 6pm. Clean in general just the shower curtain which had fungus and yellowish. TV was not working. No sound but we hardly had time for TV which channels are all in local language. Bring your own laundry soap. The mattress is just simply amazing. We had a hard time leaving it. They provided a fan which was very useful in this hot weather.

Pros: close to public transportation & grocery, has washer (It smelled bad. Like it hasn't been cleaned.), dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and other amenities. They did allow us to drop our luggage off and wait for the apartment to be "cleaned." Had a playpen for toddler. Had a fan for us. (Highest seeing setting doesn't give much air.) Apartment is shaded and comfortable even in the heat. The previous tenant was not out by the appointed time. That left a bad feeling. Not the fault of the apartment. But we had to wait 30 mins while the person tried to get the tenant out. CONS: not cleaned very well (Rug has many stains. 1 year old daughter found condom wrapper. Dust bunnies everywhere.), drawer handle missing which left screws exposed, shower leaks, elevator broke daily, smelled like smoke often from other apartments through the vent, very noisy with traffic (not the companies fault), and Wi-Fi went out, but they fixed in within the hour. Wasn't sure how to book another room with hotels.com AND not be charged. Therefore, we just stayed.

The area seemed difficult to navigate and the local people were not overly friendly or helpful with directions (we didn't know the local language and the locals didn't speak much English). This would be a perfect spot for more adventurous travellers. The apartment was spacious and comfortable - two groceries stores within a block away. The laundry facility was very convenient and allowed us to wash and hang dry some clothes so we were ready for the rest of our trip. We were only there a couple nights so we were just getting the lay of the land when it was time to go.

Exactly as pictured, convenient to metro and trams, markets nearby. Very comfortable for two people. You will need to have some of your own supplies as this is an apartment not hotel. We loved it.

Tram (49) at doorstep, subway Schweglerstrasse - line U3) is 300m from apartment. If arriving by EU/OBB train at the Meidling station, take subway line U6 towards Handelskai, get down at Westbahnof and change to line U3 towards Ottakring - get down at Schweglerstrasse. Walk to apartment!! If arriving by airport, take train to Meidling every 45 mins and follow above from Meidling station. Quick tips for budget Vienna -Buy 24h/48h Vienna pass as soon as you land in Vienna - Euro 7 and valid for tram/metro/bus.. evry inch of city covered, so you will save tons. -Take Vienna map for metro/ bus/tram routes -Travel light to Europe, charges high for luggage if you dont walk with luggage.

As a family of four, we stayed in the apartment over 3 nights. It is clean, spacious, has a nice shower room and separate toilet, a useful kitchenette. The hair dryer was missing on the first day, and we got a new one after reporting it. The only contact with the "hotel staff" was on the arrival, at a pre-agreed time, when a gentleman delivered the keys to us and settled the account. It is near Metro (U3) and Tram stations, with a supermarket nearby too.

This apartment was ok, but be aware it is not in a hotel, rather it is situated in a private apartment complex in an ordinary area of town. Also worth knowing, you will need to contact management in advance to arrange a suitable check in time. My wife emailed management previously and advised we would probably arrive around 1:00pm, not realising this would later be an issue. We ended up arriving at 7:00pm, and we were briefly in a panic after the taxi dropped us off at the address, as we could not find a hotel, only a locked private apartment complex. I attempted to contact management by phone but initially there was no response. I started to make enquiries to check into another hotel, when I received a call back, and then advised to wait for a call from the key holder. I then received a call from a lady, who provided instructions to sneak in behind the next person who opened the door to the apartment complex. From there she provided me a code to unlock a lock box next to the apartment door, to access the key and gain entry. An hour later we were in the apartment, which was large, modern and clean. Subway is approximately 2 minutes walk, and city is 10 - 15 by train. Check out is at 10:00am sharp, cleaners were knocking on our door at 9:50 to service the apartment. Ok over all if you are aware of these issues, and make firm check in time.

Although the flat itself was ok I had a number of gripes with the property/management - we arrived at the prescribed time to pick up the keys and waited, hearing nothing. After 10 minutes I got a phone call asking me if I was outside the flat (how could I be, I had no keys and was outside the building). I then had to wait around for another 10 mins to get in (waiting for another resident to open the building door) since the caller who managed the flat couldn't be bothered to meet me at the prescribed time or follow the plan they had themselves provided to us (or even phone on time to tell me they weren't coming). As a minor gripe all the dishes were in the dishwaher and wet - considering you have to pay a large cleaning fee (that isn't included in the headline price- beware) I thought this was a bit poor. I brought this up with the lady and she was highly dismissive of my comments - so, since she didn't care I thought I'd post a review. I would say that the flat itself is fine and was 100% spotlessly clean - but I found the customer service experience to be poor compared with stays elsewhere.

Nice apartment. They need to replace the mattress...it was sagging and uncomfortable. Otherwise nice apt, close to the metro and easy to get downtown.

Unterkunft ist gut mit der U - Bahn zu erreichen. Wir haben uns da sehr wohl gefühlt. Einzig beim Fernseher können wir keine Sender einstellen.

Das Appartement liegt in einer sehr Multi Kulturellen Gegend. Viele verschiedene Restaurants ( Asiatisch, Italienisch, Osteuropäisch etc.) Lebensmittelgeschäfte und ein Bauernmarkt sind in der Nähe. Da sich eine Strassenbahnhaltestelle vor dem Haus und eine U-Bahnstation in der Nähe befinden ist die Innenstadt gut erreichbar. Vor dem Hotel gibt es nur Kurzparkzonen, im ca. 600 Meter enntfernten Einkaufszentrum " Meiselmarkt" gibt es eine Parkgarage die 24 Stunden geöffnet hat ( 10,- Euro pro Tag). Die Wiener Stadthalle ist auch zu Fuss gut erreichbar.

1. Mal nach 1 Nacht direkt ausgezogen und das war schon zuviel

Das Appartement bietet mit zwei Doppelbetten, einem großen Sofa und einem Kinderbett in zwei Zimmern Platz für 5-6 Erwachsene mit Kleinkind. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet für den täglichen Urlaubsbedarf. Lediglich ein Backofen fehlt, dafür gibt es eine Mikrowelle. Für einen Familienurlaub ist die Unterkunft ok, allerdings keine 170 Euro die Nacht wert. Die Betten sind durchgelegen, die Möbel teilweise beschädigt und die Sauberkeit ist allenfalls ausreichend. Zu gute halten muss ich dem Vermieter, dass er am zweiten Tag auf Rückmeldung nochmal eine Putzkolonne geschickt hat. Kann ich nur empfehlen! :-) Die Lage des Appartements ist mäßig gut. Das Viertel hat die besten Jahre hinter sich. Dafür ist die Nahverkehrsanbindung gut. Direkt vor dem Haus fährt die Straßenbahn, was man auch in der Wohnung, neben dem sonstigen Straßenlärm, alle 10 Minuten hört. Fazit: Ich würde dieses Appartement nur dann empfehlen, wenn die Miete 80 Euro die Nacht nicht übersteigt, bei einer Belegung ab 4 Personen. Dann sind die Erwartungen nicht zu hoch. Andernfalls besteht die Gefahr einer Enttäuschung.
