Everything is good, breakfast is good . I couldn’t use the shower , I used water from the tap to wash!

Hotel is old but charming. The room was bigger than expected. Had a room for 3. Had a big bed in one space and a twin bed in the other room. We faced the harbor so opened windows to get a nice breeze. They provided a fan which helped bc our room was pretty warm as they do not have ac. Breakfast was nice and included with room rate. Service was great. Did have a time figuring out how to flush the toilet. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the town. Very friendly folks, great shopping and restaurants. Close to the beach.

I unfortunately stayed on one of the hottest nights of the year so the room had little air circulation That aside the room was clean, decent size and helpful staff, to check in and at breakfast

The Hope Anchor was a great location to explore Rye and the surrounding area.

Very tired hotel. Staff were great but glad to hear it’s been taken over and hope they put some money into it. It desperately needs TLC

Most enjoyable 3 night stay.

On top of a hill. Very kind and helpful staff for me to drop off my luggage before check in, and after check out Breakfast is quite good, and the room as fantastic views over the fields, and part of the town Rye is very small so super walkable wherever you stay. Enjoy this place next to the Mermaid street, and the charming town overall

Lovely staff very friendly. Super comfortable bed and a fantastic shower, nice big towel. Plenty of tea, coffee and water in the room. Great breakfast cooked to order.

Right at the top of Rye. It was absolutely fantastic and beautiful. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and huge! Breakfast was lovely. Really, really recommend.

Adequate for an overnight stay. No parking. Needs an update

Hotel was just what I needed to have a great visit to Rye.

Lovely weekend in Rye. Hotel had great views at the top of the village, comfy good size room and good breakfast

Room was clean and the bed comfortable. On arival its obvious the reception desk is now missing and check in is via the bar. Evening meals are still not available and the draft pumps have been removed from the bar. Feels like its being wound down, but i guess this is reflected in the price.

An excellent stay, brilliantly located in the old town with great views. Well worth the windy drive through the quirky streets and bag drop off. Room was outstanding, very comfy bed and good suite. Breakfast was also fantastic with great range of choice. Best weekend stay hotel we’ve ever had.
