I would gave an 5 star if not for shower area. The staff were very friendly. The location is quiet but it gives the place its charm.

I’ve have traveled extensively and appreciate that while hotel rooms in Korea (and Japan) are small and lack counter space and drawers, they are typically designed to be functional. I would rank this hotel our least pleasant stay. It was as if the room was designed by someone who never stayed in a hotel. So many things could have easily been done right but weren’t. Location - good for access to local buses; bad for anything else like restaurants and shops Breakfast - good assortment to start the day, managed by friendly staff Front desk - unfriendly, unhelpful, disinterested. Basic questions seemed to always annoy him. Room- It was clean. The bed was hard, with a mattress that felt like a stack of sheets, covered in a sheet. Small couch felt like sitting on wood covered in fabric. There was one wobbly freestanding rack with four hangers. No closet. Poorly placed outlets to charge electronics. Tiny shelf on each side of the bed. Room lights were controlled by a wall switch at the front of the room, not near the bed. Bathroom - skimpy hand towels only, no bath towels. Bathroom is one room, including the shower so everything gets wet when showering. As a consequence, there were no outlets in the bathroom. The hotel provides a hairdryer but there are no outlets near the one mirror in the room.

Stayed for 2 nights in a triple room. Room is clean, new and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. A simple breakfast spread is served. Located within 3 mins walk to a bus stop that has service routes to bulguksa, intercity bus terminal and historical areas. Within walking distance to Jungang market as well. Surrounding hotel area may be a bit quiet and dark at night. Bathroom size could be reduced to provide more sleeping and storage space. Also, would be good if shower area can be kept separate to avoid wetting the rest of the bathroom.

Our room was spotless (seemed like a recent renovation), quiet and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the free continental breakfast was very good. Great stay and great value.

Small hotel but room is good size and clean, lunchroom has ramen for arrival snack, breakfast is ok, nice reception, the ladies there are friendly and helpful, although hotel doesn’t give bath towels only hand towels size for energy conservation's which it’s understandable, we made it work, there are bathrobes though.

This place feels like a 5 star hotel when it comes to cleanliness and the state of the facilities. It’s small but it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long while. The rooms are state of the art and very modern. Love it and have zero complaints about anything to do with this hotel.

Perfectly decent hotel with comfortable and well equipped rooms and friendly staff. Located away from the tourist humdrum and yet just a few steps away from the historic parks. Do avoid 2nd floor rooms due to noise from lobby and breakfast area just down the hallway.

Very well located and walking distance from the historical sites and some shops. There is a small parking for those driving into town. The room was clean but the bathroom had a musty smell and the bathtub leaked. Might have been only our room, though. There was a tiny breakfast nook that was useful if you wanted a quick bite before heading out (coffee, toast, yogurt, fruit, cereal, ramyeon, boiled eggs...) It served us well for our stay in Gyeongju with a day trip to Pohang.

The bathtub was unexpectedly luxurious. I felt like a king every night using the jets. Breakfast is free and the cutoff time is lenient, plus the hotel provides complimentary ramyeon and rice to cook yourself at any hour. Five stars!

Good value, spacious, clean, modern, has at least one universal outlet. Breakfast is a little lacking, but hey, it's free and at least there's coffee and OJ.

TV remote did not work. (ran out of battery according to hotel staff) Bathroom shower switcher knob fell off (screw missing). Bathtub faucet leaking. Limited dining options nearby for people who doesn’t speak Korean. One restaurant nearby didn’t want to serve even though there were diners inside and plenty of vacant seats.
