The room is very spacious with great patio and views. The room is clean and staff very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Staff were awesome. Expedia canceled our room and Ali found a new one for us. Was not the suite, but technically he didn’t have to do anything, but chose to take care of us.

Easy parking. Room need some TLC, but enough for one night stay. Very friendly staff, easy check in.

I honestly don’t know where to begin with this hotel. The moment we pulled up, I had a feeling I had made the wrong choice booking it. The front desk gentleman was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and he was by far the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives mostly ended. The hotel does not have air conditioning, which was especially difficult during the heat wave. I asked if we could cancel our reservation so we could find a hotel with A/C abd was told no. The front desk was able to move us to a room with a portable air-conditioning unit instead. While I appreciated the effort, it ran continuously and still couldn’t cool the bedroom it was in below about 80°F (27°C). The family area and loft were not even tolerable. Our room was on the third floor, but the elevator only goes to the second. The room itself was a loft-style apartment, but it was showing its age. The kitchen area wasn’t clean, with coffee stains left on the countertops, and the overall property felt very dated. There was a rug in the bedroom that did t appear to be washed, ever. I would compare it to an older roadside motel in the United States rather than a hotel. Unfortunately, despite the friendly service, the condition of the property and lack of adequate cooling means we would not stay here again.

It was horrible , I will never stay there again , it was very hot and the AC was trash , it was broken and the hot air coming out of the AC was going back to the room . I had to sleep with my 1 years old on the floor because the room was extremely hot , I try to contact someone in the front desk since 8:30 pm and nobody was there to help . I even contacted Expedia and they try to contact the hotel but they were not able to get in contact with them, I also requested a refund but I haven’t receive any update.

The staff were very helpful and kind. We were able to access our room early, which was greatly appreciated. Complimentary water, coffee, and tea were provided, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was very pleased with our overnight stay. The front desk employee was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming -- he is a true asset. Our room was spacious -- bottled water and chocolate on our pillows were nice touches. Although it was exceptionally hot in Zurich with no AC, the fan and open window did provide relief. Free parking was one of the main reasons I chose Centra, but what I loved was the small, personal touches it provided. Also liked having a small fridge too. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was as advertised, good place to stay if you have a car and want to be close to Zurich.

I found Centra Hotel Zurich online and decided to book it after reading the positive reviews. A week later, I returned and stayed for one more night, which says a lot about how much I enjoyed my first stay. The property is very clean, quiet, and ideal for a good night’s sleep. My room was spacious and had a balcony, and the hotel is conveniently located not far from downtown Zurich. I stayed during unusually hot Swiss evenings in late June 2026, yet the room stayed cool enough for me to sleep very comfortably with the balcony door partly open. The bed was extremely comfortable (I had a double bed) and overall, the stay was excellent. I would gladly give this hotel a 10/10 and would definitely stay here again if I return to Zurich.

Hot water was off for half of our stay. They offered to refund us the stay, but then ghosted us over email when we reached out to ask for the refund, even though that's exactly what they told us to do.

The studio unit for our family of four is located at the top of the building. The lift stops at second floor, we have to carry the luggage one more floor up to the room. The room size is good, kitchenette is useful. However the water heater doesn’t seem to be working. The water is only warm for the first five seconds, called the reception to report the issue and it didn’t get fixed. We ended up taking cold showers.

Although it's not right in the center of Zuerich, nor next to the airport, it is my favorite hotel. The beds are so comfy, the breakfast keeps you running all day, there is free parking, it's quiet and lots more good things! Free parking, next to bus line, friendly staff, bar and a restaurant next door. Secured night entry... Hope that's enough to convince someone... oh and the price is not overinflated as all the other places!

Enjoyed our stay! Our room was spacious and comfortable. Great view from the balcony. Friendly staff, good basic breakfast and no extra charge for parking, which was great because many other places charged for everything, even parking. Also enjoyed the restaurant next door, with tasty burgers and fondue.

Centrally located in downtown Zurich, hotel Franziskaner. The room was amazingly clean and it has a kitchenette, stove, fridge, electric kettle that made our stay even more enjoyable since we can cook anything that we wanted to eat. The staff was excellent hands down they were so accommodating and so helpful, special mention to Alli and the amazing lady at the front desk (sorry I forgot her name). I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family if ever they visit Zurich. They even helped us with parking since we rented a car for the 10 days that we were there. Thank you. I will definitely rate this hotel 10/10.

The property owner was very friendly and delivered us an air conditioner without us having to ask. He just knew that as Americans we were used to having air conditioning. The family room and gave us plenty of room to spread out after a long train ride.

Very friendly and helpful staff - good hotel location, close to the airport yet not far from downtown Zürich. Clean and convenient room, excellent breakfast. Parking is also very convenient, either on the outside lot or underground
