A great one night stay! We didn't venture outside of the hotel much but it was really nice having our own external front door. The room was amazing with a lovely bathroom. One thing to note... No radiator in the bathroom, just a heated towel rail. So the bathroom was cold. But plenty of radiators in the rest of the room. We were also lacking a kettle in the room and found the coffee machine a bit of a faff to use. Oh... And the smallest TV in the world. Made watching 1% Club almost impossible 😂 but still a lovely comfortable room.

Very clean nicely appointed room with a unique beamed ensuite. Our room wasn't automatically serviced after the first night so had to ask for a fresh towel and for coffee machine supplies to be replenished for the next day.

Staff were all friendly, considerate and helpful. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The room was as described and the bed was comfortable. The King’s Head is ideally situated for exploring Norfolk. We hope to return.

A lovely character pub with great service. The food was delicious and good value for money. We stayed the night in the Tilney room. Beautiful decor, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, great wardrobe space. Highly recommended and definitely stay again.

We had a good sized apartment which had cooking facilities and a fridge. The bed was really big and comfortable. No issues apart from the fact that they weren’t open on Monday. The bathroom sink was too small and the overhanging cupboard made it difficult to avoid hitting your head when washing your face! Getting the shower temperature right was a challenge and disappointing that it was in the slippery bath and not separate. Staff we met at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good though expensive with extra charge for coffee/ tea and marmalade!

We stayed for 2 nights, Fri-Sun. Located in a lovely peaceful area and an easy route into Norwich. There is a lovely pub on site, we had a couple of drinks and the staff were really friendly. We didnt eat as had other plans but the food looked great- will definitely make plans for breakfast next time! The room itself was great, decorated exceptionally, fantastic bath and shower with perfect pressure/temperature. The bed and linen were extremely comfortable, and being someone who doesnt sleep great away from home, I had a perfect nights sleep- the blinds are also blackout. Nearby there is a little river and a very quiet village- we didnt hear a peep after lights out

The room (Walston) was fantastic. The bar and restaurant were equally as good and the food really good with very generous portions. The most spectacular thing about the King's Head though were the staff! So friendly and accommodating and incredibly helpful. Really recommend this hotel

Loved this place. A real one off, especially Walstan, but the biggest thing for me was the absolutely superb food at prices not much higher than you would pay in a chain restaurant. Will definitely be back

We always go to the Kings Head when we visit Norwich, it has a very beautiful garden next to a tranquil river, the food is lovely and the ambiance good. The pub is always busy but is well staffed. This is the first time we have stayed as the accommodation is a fairly recent addition. We booked for a couple of nights and it was excellent. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely second to none!! All with fresh local produce, which was prepared with care and thoughtfulness. The staff really could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. We will be back. Thank you.
