Fabulous room, only slightly let down by empty picture hooks and non working lights. Bed is 2 singles pushed together which made it difficult to cuddle up, but otherwise very comfortable night.

Friendly staff, beautiful location with amazing view, very quiet in the rooms. Plenty of off-road parking. Rooms were large and had high ceilings as did the bathroom which was odd. We had a disabled bathroom which we didn't need. On Saturday night the dining room was full and the noise level made it hard to talk to the person across the table and the service was slow as it was at breakfast. The food was very good when it came.

A real mixed review because we were misled by the room description which clearly stated air conditioning was in the room. When we arrived it was clear it wasn’t and we brought this to the attention of the manager who apologised and said she would contact her manager and get back to us. We contacted Expedia to ask them why their description was misleading and explained we wouldn’t have booked the property if we had known. The problem we had was that there was no availability at this late stage to move to. The garden facing rooms do have air con but the in house rooms definitely don’t. To make matters worse the noise that you get as you are just above the entrance and exit area is less than ideal. On a positive note the food that we had was good but the room issues spoilt our stay.

Lovely overnight stay. Unfortunately there was an issue in the kitchen the night we dined which delayed the serving of our starters. However the staff could not have been more apologetic and reduced our bill without us complaining or requesting this. Great customer service

The accommodation was beautiful but a system malfunction caused breakfast to be extremely slow but when it did eventually arrive it was beautiful. On checking out I was charged for an extra breakfast. It was sorted out . I feel the amount we paid everything should have been perfect

Food was amazing.

This is a lovely country hotel, i stayed last weeknin a garden room. This week I chose a room in the Hotel itself which was great unfortunately the staff went home and left music playing in the Restaurant down below and this kept me awake ! The Management compensated me in the morning for the inconvenience which was good of them. The food was excellent and the ambience was great so I will definitely stay again .

Great rooms amd food, very friendly

Although we only had a short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was delightful and the food was excellent. The staff were all helpful, friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble, making our stay extremely pleasurable. We would definitely go back, perhaps for a little longer next time.
