The location is inside, but there is no problem because the access is smooth.

The toilet is still not very clean because there are a lot of things like faucets stuck around the toilet...

I asked customer service to tidy up my room while I was out, but unfortunately they forgot to clean it, I don't know the reason either.

the AC leaked like a waterfall, the bathroom also leaked, my cellphone was a victim of water flowing from the AC, until I had to take it to a cellphone service center, please fix it immediately before it is occupied by visitors

The atmosphere, facilities, and price are okay, but the bed in the room I stayed in was not very comfortable.

Yesterday when I wanted to check in, the male hotel staff was not friendly, did not smile or greet me, I had requested a room number but when I arrived the room was already occupied. There was no apology from the male staff and he easily said to move to another room. It seemed like he thought I was still younger than him so he served me like he was lazy. Maybe with this review there will be no more incidents like mine, and the service at the hotel will be better.

I was looking for a family-friendly hotel and found them. Contacted the staff through WA and they helped me with my inquiries. When we reached the hotel on the check-in day, the receptionist was very helpful and made the check-in process went smoothly. We booked a family room and it was spacious. The AC functioned well and the toilet is clean. The hotel area is safe as they have 24-hrs security guards & CCTVs. Though it is in the middle of housing complex but the noise didn't bother us much (we were in the middle of an event week). The location is also close to the city (walkable distance) with variety of food choices (halal & non-halal restaurants), also provided by the hotel too but we didn't get to try it. Water dispenser with hot water is provided in the hotel lobby. Basic amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste, towels) were provided. They also provide rental service (scooter) & laundry services with reasonable price. If you drive your own vehicle, worry not as there are many parking lots, too. Overall, we had a great stay in Metro Inn and would definitely stay here if we get to come to Singkawang again.

The minus of this hotel is its location which is a bit inside (not on the side of the highway) and only 1 car lane. WiFi access is slow even though the internet is one of the main needs for guests. Towels are a bit smelly...
