Baja House is a very cool micro boutique hotel that punches well above its size. Thoughtfully designed as a narrow vertical space, every inch is used with intention—and it shows. Each room feels expansive thanks to soaring ceilings, and ours had a private stair that led to a rooftop terrace, opening onto a larger shared rooftop with views over the whole town. That layered sense of space—moving up, out, and into views—was a highlight. Inside, the details elevate the experience. Cathedral-style stained glass windows cast beautiful light, giving the room a quiet, cinematic feel. The bathroom is modern, the bed is comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure. The rooftop is exceptional: oversized jacuzzi, lounge seating, couches, and an outdoor kitchen under a pergola, with Bluetooth speakers for chilled-out music. It’s an ideal spot to unwind at sunset or ease into the evening. There’s also a more intimate courtyard with a plunge pool, lush tropical planting, and relaxed seating—quiet, tucked away, and beautifully composed. What really sets Baja House apart is the design—Baja beach meets jungle with an industrial-modern edge. Raw materials, reclaimed wood, and repurposed fixtures create a refined, slightly DIY feel, all executed with a strong design sense. It feels like something out of Dwell—effortless, textural, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Would absolutely stay again..

I recently stayed at BAJA HOUSE and can confidently say it is the best hotel in all of Todos Santos. The service was spectacular—the staff is attentive and warm, going above and beyond. The rooms are excellent and very clean, providing a truly comfortable and relaxing retreat. What really sets it apart is the unbeatable location, offering easy walking access to everything in town. In short: BAJA HOUSE is an exceptional hotel. Highly recommended!

This hotel has a great vibe. Modern ann minimalist but comfortable. Everything was clean and nice; the hosts were excellent and responsive; and breakfast was great. The roof top hot tub provided spectacular sunset views. Will definitely return!!

Just returned from Todos Santos. Our stay at Baja House was fantastic. What a sweet location. Right in the middle of town but you wouldn't know it. Our host Jose Trejo was fantastic. Answered all of our questions, arranged a day tour of La Paz with Daniel which was fantastic. The hotel has only six rooms and would make a fantastic place for a group of family or friends to take the entire building. Maybe hire a cook... There is a small pool and two roof decks which makes for plenty of space for relaxing and not being right on top of one another.

The room was quite small but well appointed. The stairs up to the top floor, where our room was located, are quite narrow and the rebar railing wasn’t easy to hang onto. We didn’t use the pool but it was gorgeous. Nice location but the sidewalks, like much of Todos Santos sidewalks, were rough and uneven.

The location was central in Todos Santos, very walkable. The noise level around the area is quite high (dogs, chickens, street noise). But Araceli (housekeeper), was an absolute gem; so kind and helpful. Customer service or who ever monitors emails/contact needs improvement

The staff person was friendly and welcoming m, the room was clean and comfortable and the pool and roof deck were both lovely. Roosters are persistent and loud, but we appreciated the earplugs supplied.

I loved the uniqueness of the building itself - lots of areas to lounge and hangout or work. From the roof top with beautiful sunsets and a place to relax to the pool side - all well layout and beautiful. Our hostess especially made the place fell so homey and welcoming - she is a gem! Step outside and all the shops and restaurants are there. With a car you can get out of town and explore - check out the nearby green room restaurant on the beach, sunset and whales 🐳 Local taco stands win the reward for best 🌮 food in my mind! Enjoy! Will be back

Loved the location and the property. Yes as other reviews mentioned there are roosters close by, but they provide earplugs. The stairs are very narrow but doable. Amazing views from the rooftop, pool and decor is excellent, bed comfortable and room spacious. The best part was Araceli, very helpful and kind.

This is the most relaxing place I have ever stayed in. It has only a few rooms. It is beautifully designed and decorated. The beds are comfortable. The back courtyard and pool are lovely. I could spend hours there, lulled by the sound of doves and chickens. Areceli is most kind and helpful and we enjoyed her company. She is there most of the day. You have to use a key code to get in if Araceli isn't there. That was complicated for us as she was out shopping, expecting us later, and we had to figure out the door lock. It took a few tries and then when we got in, we didn't know which room was ours. Anyway, it was resolved and we continued blissfully. I highly recommend this place.

i really loved my stay at baja house. it's a beautiful property & close to everything. the pool & jacuzzi are lovely and my room was comfortable. i didn't mind the roosters crowing or the music from the restaurant. but there are ear plugs & a sound machine to help. it's close to a lot of stores & restaurants and the bus station where you can get taxis. i was able see everything i hoped for.

Baja House was amazing! We were immediately wowed and impressed by how well thought out the amenities and conveniences were for guests. Yes, there are roosters and Mexican roosters are not like US roosters, they enjoy socializing and dancing until the wee hours. The ear plugs provided by Baja House were all we needed for a sound slumber. And honestly, an early rise is the best in such a charming town. Allows one to get the lay of the land and find all the best eateries with no crowded streets or corridors. Thank you Baja House, we will be back soon.

This was our first time staying at this property, and we were very happy with the accommodations. The room and property were very clean, but basic. The only downside was the traffic noise on the street which went on until late in the evening. Maybe a different room would be quieter. There was a white noise machine in the room, so that helped some, but apparently they realize it is necessary. The bed was comfortable, and the wood floor was very creeky, but I guess that adds to the character. We could walk to everything in town, which was a plus, and parking on the street was easy.
