Clean and nice and quiet. It was a perfect little place for me, my husband, and my two young kids. It truly felt like we were at home. We really enjoyed our stay at North Star Place.

A great layout, sunny, roomy

This was a two night stay in Fairbanks. Getting into the building was a bit confusing. No noise coming from the other units (parking lot was full). Not located near anything of interest that’s walkable. We were put off by a few things mainly the smell as soon as you walk into the building. Not sure why the windows wouldn’t open (top units had their windows open). The one in the bedroom appeared to be nailed shut?!?! Overall this unit was just ok. We basically used it as a place to sleep..we didn’t hang out inside, cook food etc.

The location is conveniently close to downtown by car.. The apartment has been modernized with new appliances, a TV, a kitchen, flooring, and an updated bathroom. The apartment was impeccably clean, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay were provided. A good bed is crucial for me, and the mattress and all the bedding were brand new. The bed offered excellent support. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting the Fairbanks area. Lastly, the owners were exceptionally courteous in their communication and attentive in ensuring my comfort during my stay. I highly recommend it!

This is a darling little apartment and just the place we needed for a rest. The owners are wonderful. We had a medical emergency and they were very accommodating.

Wasn't sure what to expect based on the outside, but the inside is nice and appears to have been recently remodeled. One of the windows didn’t want to open which made it a bit stuffy. The view isn't much to look at. Overall it was comfy inside and a good deal for the price.

The only thing that wasn't excellent is; the TV wasn't working with streaming media. Luckily, we had other things to do.

If you want a posh experience and need a place to park your oversized luxury SUV, this might not be for you. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a clean rental this is perfect. It was a 1-bedroom apartment (bigger than mine) with all of the basics -- nice bathroom, large living room, full kitchen, great wifi and TV, and a new bed and linens. Everything is close by, a short drive in any direction. There were a few things that needed attention, but overall it was an excellent choice for my work trip.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and very good communication before arrival on how to get in and again to check during stay. It worked great for us. Walls are thin but fortunately others in adjacent apartments were respectful so no problem. Pans are scratched up a bit and would recommend new ones. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This place was perfect for two of us. There’s a kitchenette, comfortable living room with dining table, comfy bedroom and a bathroom. It was pretty quiet and easy to find. The location is convenient to the main streets. There’s also a balcony we didn’t use because it was winter. There are three short flights of stairs to the apartment and no elevator. A laundry room is on the bottom floor of the building. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again.
