Perfect stay!

Fantastic hotel. This will be my go-to place in Brasov always. Loved everything about it. Esther was fantastic and super helpful. What a wonderful place.

Genuinely this has to sit in my top 3 hotel stays of all time! I've travelled the globe and I cannot recommend this enough. Eszter was the perfect host, she made sure our stay was perfect from start to finish. The room was incredible, very close to everything AND Eszter also gave us some recommendations for food/drinks and tours. The two choices for breakfast were spot on too. Everything was absolutely incredible. Thank you.

Rossmarkt haus is a lovely hotel situated in the centre of Brasov old town next to the old town square and Black church. Check in was efficient we we arrived. Breakfast there is a choice of two places the hotel over the road for a buffet or the restuarant below the hotel for a range of options. Ezster the host was friendly and always contactable to awnser any questions. The room itself accommodated our ten year old daughter and my wife and i. Comfortable beds and the room we had, number two also had a private balcony. I highly recommend hotel rossmarkt haus for a stay in Brssov.

Loved staying here, mini home from home, very comfortable. To be absolutely perfect we would have liked cushions on the sofa and a large duvet on the bed instead of 2 singles. (Sweets were a very welcome addition!)

We had a big lounge area and a nice big bedroom with comfortable bed. Very clean and nice little touches of apples, water and sweets as well as herbal teas in the room. Our host Eszter was very friendly and we found message her anytime we needed anything.

I actually arrived a day before I had booked my reservation and Eszter was kind and helpful and got me in a day early! There was a private balcony that overlooks the Black Cathedral that I had all to myself and enjoyed a cup of hot tea complimentary included with the room. Very good location and multiple breakfast options from two easy to get to locations. I ate at the restaurant directly below my room which has vegetarian options too. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to a solo traveler or anyone looking for an authentic hotel in a perfect location, safe, friendly and clean.

I certainly enjoyed my stay at Rossmarkt Haus. It is located right in the central area right next to the Black Church and the Christmas market. I was able to walk to most of attraction sites. I also had an option to choose between a hotel buffet and a la carte breakfast. The room was so cozy and warm, and the bed was comfortable to ensure a good night’s rest. I appreciate their warm hospitality.

Adding a couple days on the front of a Viking cruise, we spent a couple of days in Brasov. We prefer to stay close to downtown. I found Rossmarkt Haus on a popular hotel website. As is typically the case, finding a place to park can be quite difficult, so splurge for the optional private parking which is ~100 meters from the building, which also houses a restaurant. There are no elevators so you’ll be carrying your bags up one or two flights of stairs. We stayed in room #1, which had a big living room, separate bedroom, and a large bathroom. Wooden floors and windows overlooking the street, the living space was very comfortable. A mini-split unit covered the HVAC needs nicely. Breakfast is included, and is a choice between a hotel buffet across the street, or a la carte from the restaurant downstairs. We preferred the buffet. All-in-all, a very enjoyable stay, and one that we’d recommend if you’re going to be in Brasov. See my other reviews (Ograda and Cucinino) for places to dine. Recommended

The location could NOT be better! The bathroom window in my room looked directly at the Black Church! Everything you want to see is easily-walkable. The room was perfect. Staff was lovely, too. I would recommend the breakfast from the restaurant downstairs - Figaro - over the buffet option across the street.

Fantastic location, we could see the Black Church from our bathroom window! Really quirky and cosy attic room with exposed beams. Great bathroom, and really nice touches like candy in the room. The host couldn't have been more helpful, in regular touch to ensure we could check in early, and with advice re breakfast etc. Highly recommend! Such good value.

Great location for seeing old Braşov. We had a nice big room. Communication with the hotel was great. The beds were comfortable. The biggest problem was parking. We were here Friday and Saturday night in the fall when colors were at their peak and students had the next week off. It took us over 30 minutes each night driving around to find parking. One time we had to park 15 min walk away, so that is a big downside. Wasting time trying to find parking instead of enjoying the sights is disappointing. But the Rossmarkt was lovely. Breakfast at Bella Muzica (included) was a nice buffet with plenty of food. I gave it a four star instead of a five due to the issue of parking not the hotel‘s fault but you have to know that if you’re staying here.

The host was an absolute delight to interact with; very friendly, responsive and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the history of the building and location was intriguing. Breakfast options offered are outstanding. Highly recommend!

Hotels have staff. This had a keypad and no one was there to greet us when we arrived. Room was nice but foam matress was awful. Its a shame that breakfast was factory food in a region rich with artisinal producers.

Lovely place! Highly recommended to stay!

I had a wonderful stay at ROSSMARKT HAUS. The room was beautiful and immaculate and the bed was comfortable. The owner was so nice and so helpful! She answered all my questions and even though I asked a lot of things, she was always friendly. She even called nail salons to try to help me get a nail appointment. The location can’t be beat, right next to the Black Church.

It was a large space, with separate living area - more like an apartment than a hotel room, which was a pleasant surprise. Lots of delicious food recommendations, thanks to attentive host Noemi, with good communication. Great location in the centre of Brasov. Definitely recommend staying here.
